The load on you may be the load you have placed on yourself. Ask the Lord to show you what HE has called YOU to do because you may be trying to do more. Your intentions may be good but remember you are a part of the body, not the whole and also every one who is a member of A church is not a true member of THE church ( The Body of Christ). Do your part and God will provide for the rest. You be faithful to your call when you understand what part of the body you are.
Many people who are real Christians do not know what part of the body they are and they are out of place and therefore are weary, frustrated and most of all powerless and ineffective. We really need to learn to listen to the Holy Spirit because He places the members, where He wants to and gives the gifts. If you are the eyes you are gifted to see, not hear, If you are the ears you are gifted to hear not see.
One more thing is that most Christians go to the church they want to because for the wrong reasons. They do not take time to really seek God about where they should be and this creates problems also. If the Lord requires someone to do something He knows and is able to do what is needed.
I do hope this helps and God will reward you for your obedience to Him.

I believe that the purpose of churches is to drag down and destroy the young, naive, uncorrupted Believer. The mind-kontrol is put in right from The Sinner's Prayer, to get you to forget completely that you came to worship and serve GOD- not His Errand Boys. Not even Jesus.
Jesus had to finally confess to his Disciples that all Believers on Him would accomplish far more once he wasn't around to confuse them any more [John 14:12].
I would never advise anyone to leave their church! Stay in it, until they either repent at your feet, or give you the Left Foot of Fellowship. BEGIN TO KEEP SERIOUS JOURNALS. Never show them to anyone. Note people's sins AND righteousnesses. Their strengths and weaknesses.
Get so you can predict their behavior. Evaluate them by type.
Categorize them according to The Parable of The Sower.
Then you will know how to pray for them, so that they will be Saved, and attain The Joy of The LORD.
Remember- none of this will do you any good at all, unless you are firmly founded in Jesus [Matt. 7:1-5, 21-29].

1 Peter 5:1To the elders among you, I appeal as a fellow elder, a witness of Christ's sufferings and one who also will share in the glory to be revealed: 2Be shepherds of God's flock that is under your care, serving as overseers—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not greedy for money, but eager to serve; 3not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. 4And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away.
