To fight ghosts with farts you need to have supernaturally strong gaseous emissions. If you are currently in need of such specter fighting power, I would be happy to let you borrow my 10 year old son and his singularly stinky ****. The EPA has rejected my plea to have him quarantined as a toxic bio-hazard so I am trying to capitalize on the unique ability he has to clear all surroundings of living and non-living entities. Or if you are remodeling your home, perhaps he could fart up a storm in your living room and thus peel the current wallpaper off of the walls for you. Love and luck--MissDelanne

I wish it worked but I don't think so. As far as I can tell, ghosts don't have a sense of smell. Cuz if they did they would not be in my house. My sister drops some atomic farts on a daily basis that can hang for hours but our house is still haunted.

I suppose that if you believe in ghosts, there is reason to believe that you can fight them with farts.

My roomate conducts intense and thorough research on this everyday. I can personally attest that YES, farts keep away ghosts because there are none in my house. Apparently, they are as scared of his farts as I am. *LOL*

That is assuming a ghost can smell. But then perhaps your flatulance is potent enough to ward off any thing both living or dead.
