coffee or tea might help, put some dry coffee grinds or tea leafs in an open container or tray and leave it in the car, hopefully it will eat up the funk ;-)

To get all of the odor out you really need to use an enzymatic cleaner such as 'Nature's Miracle'. It gets right to the bottom of the smell and eliminates it.

You'll need to make sure the area is clean, then soak it with Natures Miracle, leave for 15 mins or so, blot excess and let it dry. You may need to repeat this more than once, but it'll depend on how old the stain/odor and where it is.

Vehicle carpet shouldn't be difficult, but if it's the seats it may take a little longer as you'll have to get the cleaner to soak right down into the padding and then dry out.

It will still smell until all the enzymatic cleaner is totally dry, but then it should be 'all gone'!!

open all the windows on a nice day and air it our with the fresh breezes. Use Lysol or Pine sol. Air that out after due to a very strong cleaning scent.

Hmmm. Well, I guess you have to take a scruber and soap and clean it. Don't worry, it won't hurt the uphostry.
