My fiancee is in the Navy and I havent heard from him yet and he has been gone for 2 weeks(hes in basic training now).. His recruiter said his graduation should be Dec. 7, and then he will go to his "A" school for ever how long.. My question is do you think he will be able to come home for Christmas? Does "A" school close for the Christmas holiday?

no they don't close. i doubt he will be able to come home untill after school.

They get to come home for two weeks for Christmas and New Year...but they have to pay their own way...this is to give the Instructors and Drills time with their families...

He may nto get a long vacation as a new person in the Navy

Yes he gets a two week christmas exadus. he should contact you next month and let you or someone know all the details.
