Check at a local farm supply store to see if they carry Tetracycline with Sulfa antibiotic powder. Mix it into his water at a rate of 1 teaspoon of powder to 1 gallon of drinking water.
Put antibiotic cream on the wound.
Of course, without knowing what kind of wounds your duck has, its impossible to say if these precautions will do any good.
Good Luck

You can clean the cuts with a mixture of disinfectant and water, and keep him indoors while he recovers. But if he doesn't show a big improvement by tomorrow, you will have to take him to the vet anyway. If you can't afford the vet in your own area, travel to an area where vets are cheaper - or ask your parents for help. They won't want the duck to suffer.

I wouldn't worry about rabies. It is a purely mammalian disease.
What I would worry about is the fact that the teeth of predators harbour bacteria that is toxic to birds. The duck may look fine now, but I could be dead the next day.
Take it to a vet and ask to volunteer to pay him/her back or something. If the vet is a good person, I'm sure something can be worked out.

I have ducks, game birds, chickens and we also have coyotes around. When you have pets there are going to be vet bills. Call around, there are some vets that will work with you as far as the money goes, but find that little guy a doctor or give him to someone that can take care of him. No animal should suffer.

Vets - some not most - can bill you and make pymt arragements, especially when it involves attack from a wild animal. If you live in an area where there are "farm" vets they usually will bill you. The first two answerers are just uptight and do not know any better.
Call around and find one as soon as possible. Most vets - like doctors - have an oath to uphold. Good luck and I hope he will be fine soon.
Blessed be and Peace

Hi, Im sorry about your duck,
The thing you can do is to keep him cumpfy. Let him swim in a lil pool or lake if you have one. Water streangthens them expecially walking, if he has problems walking let him swim a while each day to strenghthen him. Dont put him with other male ducks, if you have a female put them together so he has company, usually is a duck is weaker they will bully them. Keep him in cage so he dont move too much, and most importantly give him lots of love.

Your not a vet and you shook seek medical attention for your duck. He could get nasty infections and there could be a serious problem that you cannot see on the surface. If it was me I would suck it up and take it to a vet. I should hope that when everyone gets a pet they realize that vet bills are a reality and you need to make sure it is ok!

Having a pet means taking responsibility for it. If it needs a vet take it to one or ditch the pets. Sorry if that isn't what you wanted to hear, but I really don't think there are any duck vets on YA to help you in any meaningful way.

keep him quiet, in a nice safe comfortable area, clean his cuts, give him food and water and just keep an eye on him. Hopefully he will get better. Clean his injuries at least once a day to keep them from getting infected. good luck. Ignore the all the mean answerers, apparently they have never been short on cash!

Ask the vet if you can volunteer to payoff the debt for the bill.
