Use the phone. Being declined is based on your credit record, which is derived from you SS number, not your address.

However, if you have put in a wrong address which is an incorrect and non existent address, it will be returned to the CC company.

Contact the company and let them know the error.

If you put a wrong address then you may get declined, but more importantly, if you get approved the approved card will go to the wrong address. Who knows what will happen then. Why don't you try calling the credit card company to tell them you put down the wrong address? More credit repair ideas at link below.

You can not be declined for a credit card based on putting the wrong address but u can be declined by what your credit score and profile is. If u put the wrong address on the card simpky call the credit card company and notfiy them.. That way they can cancell that previous card and resend you a new one..

The person at the address will be able to use your credit card.
Do you know who lives at the addres, if so, call and tell them what you did.
