What you need to do is open the email. which i know you think is defeating the purpose... once you open the email scroll to the end of it and there should be a link tht says to unsubscribe click here.. just click it then they will usuall as you to enter your email address and thats it.. You shouldnt get any more after that..

Unfortunately, you can't. Most E-mail sites like Yahoo and Hotmail have blocking programs in place that filter out most of those, but I still get several a week that are more than obviously spam.

Most of the E-mail accounts that send these spam messages are created on a daily/weekly basis, so blocking them doesn't really solve anything (I've tried... it doesn't work). Blocking the address won't work as it will just fill up your blocked list, and the address likely won't be used after a week.

The only thing I've found that works is to never give your E-mail address out to companies. When I first set up a Yahoo account a long time ago, I didn't give it to any other websites or companies, and I didn't get any spam. Once I gave it to a few companies (registering for their services and whatnot), I started getting spam within a week.... obviously, they sold it to a mailing list.

If you have a home E-mail account (one that's not online), you could buy a program to filter out certain keywords (although many of the spammers are wise to those and change the words... like using 0 instead of o). I think Norton and the big virus programs have E-mail filters like that... but they only work if they are on your computer, not online, so it won't work for a Yahoo account.

The long and short of it..... just report it as spam and forget about it.
Yahoo will do a lot of the work for you, but it takes users reporting the spam to let them know.

I don't know I keep reporting these as spam but I still get the emails. If you block one address 3 different ones come in.

Never click on unsubscribe or any other links in the email; This is a trick. Report the email as spam.

Use or setup your spam blocker on your email account - however, some email accounts have really poor spam blockers. I switched from my Yahoo one years ago cause it sucked at blocking ads like that.

Oh my, this has not happened to me.
My computer advisor had me go to AVG.com to get a free trial subscription of antivirus protection and it has been great! No spam. The AVG is renewable yearly, and best of all it is free. You have to ask for the trial protection on the site to get started.

Good luck, hope this helps!!

All you have to do is adjust your spam folder to level that is as high has you can get. That way it will filter all the unwanted advertisements you have been receiving!
