Ok so my maid has a huge tattoo on her arm so she wants a wrap but some do not. So would this look good with it?

a wrap will be too much. Their is make up that will cover her tatoo and do it very well. If you decide to get a wrap, it must be the color of her sash. Will the rest of the bridesmaids be wearing shawls or wraps also?

I think a wrap would be too much considering the large sash around the waist.

Since she's the maid of honor, she can technically be in a different dress. I've known plenty of people to put their maid of honor in a different dress than the other girls... its okay if she stands out. Of course find a dress that would still compliment the other dresses and use the same color scheme, but its okay to use a different dress (one that would work with a wrap)...

Just a reminder, that dress that you showed is very specific to certain body types... larger or bustier girls won't be complimented by that dress... just something to think about, just in case... not necessarily because the girls may look bad, but because they may not be comfortable (for example, if one girl is large chested, she will probably be tugging at the top of the dress all day long)

Another idea about the tatoo... I've seen "tatoo cover up"... Its a type of thick make-up that can be used to cover the tatoo. Usually bridal shops sell this stuff... you can probably even find it online.

Good luck!

Hi. That is a very pretty dress. Personally, I am not a fan of "wraps" at all, but I understand the issue with the tattoo. So, if you really want that dress and she really wants the tattoo covered, you will have to go with the wrap. It's too bad, though, as that dress is beautiful like that!

I dont think a wrap would look good, because there is already something hanging down (the sash). You dont want a long wrap hanging down as well. Could she just show the tattoo as it is? Its not like there is any stigma against tattoos in the US.

Because of the sash I don't think a wrap would look very good with this particular dress. Perhaps she can cover it with makeup.

Cover it with makeup because that type of dress wouldnt look good with a wrap.

According to the product description, it does come with a shawl included. She could cover the tattoo with that. You could have the girls all wear their shawls for the ceremony and make them an option at the reception.

Good luck!

If she gets one that totally matches the sash. Don't worry about only one BM having a wrap - my niece did that for a recent wedding (the gowns were strapless and it was uncomfortable for her), and you didn't even really notice that one had one, and the other two didn't.

in my view, i think of a darker gown with a lighter wrap might look superb. even however this is stressful to declare with out easily seeing the combinations. even however, finally, you ought to do exactly what you and the bridesmaids like! :)

I think it would be ok, but I would NEVER have my bridesmaids also wearing white on my wedding day. The sash would have to go though if she had a wrap.
