It means Laugh Out Loud (LOL). A lot of people will write that instead of he he. There's also ROFLMAO which means Rolling On Floor Laughing My A@# Off.

With all the text messaging, the abbreviations are to the extreme. lol (laugh out loud) nbd (no big deal). Sometimes 1 has 2 look at the previous word content to put it into context.

Good luck as we all lol at our new text, we are creating.

It means laugh out loud or laughing out loud. I did have the same problem understanding what the word meant. I saw somebody asked its meaning so, here I am, doing the same favor she did.

rofl means "rolling on the floor laughing"
lmao means " laughing my a$$ off"
btw means "by the way"
amf means "a$$h0l3 m0th3r f***3r"
lols is just an expression or it can be a bad word.
nm means "not much"
nvm means "nevermind"
