Whenever I click on a .jpeg file, my computer uses Internet Explorer to view it, how can I make Mozilla Firefox my default photo browser, instead of Internet Explorer?

Windows XP, by default, opens JPG files using the Windows Picture and Fax Viewer. When you install other photo programs, they often change the "file associations" in Windows. Adobe Photoshop Album Starter 3.0 is an example.

To change the File Association, right-click on any JPG and choose "Open With >". Then click on "Choose Program..." Choose Firefox, then Check the "Always use this program to open this kind of file." Box, then OK. Now, Windows will use that app every time you double-click on a JPG.

Using Explorer, open any folder for example, click on Tools -> Folder Options -> File Types tab -> Scroll down to Jpeg and set the default program to open it with Firefox.

Right-click on any .jpeg file , click open with...
Click Choose Program
Select Mozilla Firefox from the list
Check the Always use this program to open this kind of file
Hit ok
