Not the God Jesus talked about.
I suspect it's the same god Fred Phelps has. The one who sends him to disrupt funerals and tell mothers mourning their dead sons that they were "fags and burning in hell."
Or maybe it's the same god that told that paragon of vitrue, George Dubya Bush to kill all those innocent people in Iraq.
Might me him, but it isn't the God I know.

Of course it wasn't god who told the yorkshire ripper to rid the streets of prostitutes. The yorkershire ripper has/had mental health issues. And if the christian god has ordered things in the old testament, then perhaps he suffers from mental health issues too? And if that's true....oh boy, is the christian world ever going to be in turmoil.

the alleged god does not exist.
it therefore follows that the deluded are truly deluded.
Voices in the head are very common among the mentally-unstable.
I just heard a voice in my head. it siad "Go make coffee". Hold up! I think that it was just my own idea. That's what the Ripper had - his own ideas. Thereafter, it is always possible to claim an insanity defense by referring to the oft-used - "I had voices in my head. It was god telling me (or the devil - take your pick)"
Mark David Chapman, a Born-Again Christian, heard voices and he finally managed to succumb to them, murdering John Lennon. Gods or devils are not real but mentally-disturbed humans are.

If God was to have done this He would have been giving one awful huge task to just one man and it would have been totally silly, God watches in silence and takes all the abuse of humanity and the blame too, but eventually there is a price to be paid for wilful sin,God is the final and Just judge.

Absolutely not. And incidentally, the "worse things" in the Old Testament were far different. They were holy wars to cleanse the land of false worship, which included child sacrifices... backed up by archaeological evidence by the way.
