To a lot of people he is the messiah. So, to a degee this is true. But, if you really want to be saved, from any spiritual bad results after you die, you better contribute positvely to this world, so that our just, and moral God, will treat you well. God is a God, that one can be proud to call our spiritual leader, that treats good people well. Please Meditate/prayer on being a better person.

We have still existing today copies of the Old Testament books from at least 250-400 years before the time of Christ. Many of the books are much older then that, but due to the fragile nature of the "paper" on which they were written, no earlier copies are known to still survive.

Within the pages of the Old Testament are hundreds of prophecies about who the Messiah will be and what he will accomplish. It includes such details as his bloodline, place of birth, where he will be raised, the manner of his death and burial, and hundreds of other details.

For example, look some time at Psalms 22. It opens with the words that Jesus spoken when he was first placed on the cross, and goes on to detail over 2 dozen over events that would happen during his crucifixion. This includes the words that would b used to mock him by his enemies, that soldiers would gamble for his clothing, that his hands and feet would be pierced (200+ years before crucifixion was invented), that his bones would be pulled out of joint (the actual case of most deaths in crucifixion), that he would thirst, that his bones would not be broken like the others, that he would be laid in the borrowed tomb of a rich man, etc.

The gospel of Matthew list 90 different things in the life of Jesus that were direct fulfillments of different Old Testament prophecies.

Of all the people who have ever claimed to be a Messiah, Jesus is the only one who has 1500+ years of prophecy in 39 books by almost as many authors to support his claim.

He is , He fulfilled all the old testament prophecies. If you get the chance to read, A Case For Christ by Lee Strobal, it can verify many of these proofs.
