Dear one--
Yes. I believe there is a lot of scientific evidence that backs up the Bible in a lot of things. But, also, some things cannot be explained by Science, such as Elijah going up in a whirlwind. But, if we limit God to scientific knowledge, He wouldn't be much of a God, would He? You say you believe in God, and so do I. You must trust, then, that His word is true. If He created all things, then He must know everything there is to know. Do we? Should we even pretend to? Do we really think we could ever know as much as God? Never! There are things that God does not want us to know, that only He knows. He is God, and we're not. One of my favorite things that God said is; "Be still and know that I am God." Sometimes we have to just do that, and trust Him. If we knew everything, then, we, as humans wouldn't even need God in our lives anymore. We wouldn't go to Him for any of our problems. There would be no prayer. There would be no worship, we would think that we are as wise as God. If you know your Bible, I don't have to tell you what happens to people (or angels) who try to exalt themselves above the Almighty God.
Dear one, none of us can know everything. But, if you feel the need to know more about science and the Bible, then check out Creation Science. I'm pretty sure you can get on one of their websites by just typing in Creation Science. There is some really, really interesting stuff, and may answer some of your questions. There is also a program on television on NRB called Creation Network or something like that, where they talk about this stuff. I watch it once in a while. They not only explain a lot of stuff, but also disprove other theories like evolution. Check it out! Take care, and God Bless!

This depends on your interpretation of the Bible or, in my case, if you even believe the Bible.

Some people interpret this passage (2 Pet 3) literally. They believe that God will literally destroy the earth with fire. Others believe that this is symbolic language (see http://gospelthemes.com/Mt24.htm ) and refers to a judgment upon the nation of Israel. As for global warming, that's a new one for me.

There are several ways to look at this. There are some things in the bible that agree with science and some that do not. As far as prophecy is concerned, you rarely know what a prophecy means until after it comes to pass.

As far as the past is concerned, there seems to be quite a lack of evidence for the bible.

If world is created by some one, who creats
the someone? If creator is everlasting, I can see the world nothing is everlasting, even our sun.

you can interpret it however you like, thats the beauty of vague writing...and the only thing keeping people reading...

Like nostradomus, or horoscope writers, it's just so vague that nobody can refute it...

"Kim, you're going to have some challenges today, just keep your head up, and don't let them get you down" see? i can do it too..
