Question: Why are Natives so bitter?

Question Details: Shouldn't we just learn to forgive the white people? After all it's not like any of you alive had anything to do with the slaughter of my ancestors, right? I am so sick of hearing this. People ask me all the time why I'm bitter. Well look at the way we're still treated to this day, and why, and you'll understand why I'm so bitter. And when people think it's funny to mock my culture by playing Cowboys and Indians, it just pisses me off even more.

(My) - Deleted Answer: Europeans decimated native people across the globe during a relative short period of time. They have never made any real restitution. The biggest criminals, were the Catholic Church, closely followed by the rest of the Christians.

A lot of good people have been banned from here due to the actions of a few vindictive and unenlightened people. I am not taking it any more and will be posting all the info I can on those responsible.

The original question was triggered my something that deeply offended the asker. They, however did NOT report the the question that they offended them, they merely posted this and opened it for opinions. It just seems that you must walk on eggshells in R&S lately.

The Theists and its mainly Christians, are doing on a very small scale here, what they would love to see full scale in the world. They wish to silence all critics. Sound familiar?

I got a violation for telling a kid to do his own homework, and it was the right thing to do too.

Did it deserve a violation... No ... It's just an opinion posed in the form of a question.

Do I agree with the resons you site for your bitterness... Absolutely not.. !

American Indians have every opportunity to put their heritage in it's proper place and get on with making their lives as rich and as full as any other American, and that's the truth of the present situation. In fact, Indians have rights above and beyond those of ordinary Americans... I personally think that's as wrong as wrong can be, but there it is... another truth of the present.

As for the past: I can't change it and neither can you. The American Indian society has been repaid ten-thousand times over for their losses and yet they think they deserve more when in fact they do not. Indians were unable to defend their society and their society was run over as a result, they lost the wars ! Be thankful that the folks who overtook the Indians away were generous enough to provide what little they did rather than simply be finished with all Indians through some genocidal act.

If you want more from life, work for it just like most good Americans do.

Your bitterness is disgusting. You really ought to do something about ridding yourself of it - at the very least, you ought to keep it to yourself. Nobody can make it better for you except you, so why make yourself appear so foolish by complaining like a spoiled child ?

I truly wish you the best....

I think it is all done automated. If 2 reports go in then a violation notice comes straight out. I dont think any human looks at this and considers the whole question.
It just on automation.

Of course I could be wrong, but that seems to be the only way that these violation notices make sense.

I am sure someone will correct me however.

Obviously you have upset someone by mentioning certain groups in your answer.

Of course not, but some religious people are vindictive. What would their idols think of them when they do these things...whether it be Jesus or Mohamed, they would be appalled at what their followers have become with this kind of trivial hate toward others instead of love. In the very least, IGNORE things you don't care to read. Ignorant people suck.

On Y/A,"deserved"has nothing to do with violations. Most appear to think they are doing their gods work by report abuse anything that may shed light on their belief.Just as always has been.Nowadays, they have "report abuse"It could be worse. If they were in power,we would be getting burned at the stake. The "report"button needs to be eliminated,it is sending people away and encouraging ignorant fanatics.

yes it is.

As long as two or more people disagree with your point of view, a violation is expected - even if it is in history books or taught at school, this isn't about the right answer, but the right point of view.
i got deleted for saying that according to the jewish book, the talmud, they hate christians.

Jesus H. Christ! .. nothing offensive about your answer.
European Christians have always been the scourge of the earth. As for that matter all religions, if it were not for religion the world might actually be a peaceful place.

Your answer was relevant to a significant extent, but conservative people would rather censor the truth and substitute their propaganda and smears than deal with it. Conservatism has been destroying America for over 25 years.

No, nothing or nobody was violated.

Apparently some people seem to feel that expressing an opinion which does not match theirs is wrong.

Certain people see the truth as a direct attack against them. They do everything they can to silence anyone that tries to confront them with it.
This "violation" is completely unjustified.
