My female eyering (2yrs old) paired with a peach-face (1 year younger), mate and now are having there own set of eggs. This couple find each other through a community of peach-face and eyering. If ever there eggs will hatch, are the chicks normal physically? Are they capable of producing there own youngs in the future? Does anyone having experience with this cross-breeding? Thanks..........

LB's can and do cross breed easily and frequently.
If the eggs are viable, the chicks will be fine.
You will probably get some strange/out of ordinary colors but the health will be fine. The offspring may be sterile also.

I had a mixed pair that bonded from different cages and I finally relented and put them together. They lived happily for over 5 years and raised a dozen chicks.

The chicks will be fine, as the previous poster said. You might get some goofy coloring and more than likely the chicks will be sterile. They will be normal otherwise though.
Most lovebird breeders try to keep the species lines separate since there can be no more importation of the birds and don't want to dilute the genetic lines of the different species.

I have a Fischer's ( one of the eyerings) and peach face hybrid. He is quite beautiful and has an eyering as well. The eyering is just not quite as large as it is on a pure Fischer's.
