The blood of Abel cried out for Justice.. This is an example of the Law.
Jesus' blood cries out to GOD for Grace - This is an example of a better thing than law.
The law cannot save anyone, we are all condemned by the law.. but grace can save anyone - Its message is one of perfect forgiveness.

In the book of Genesis, after Cain kills his brother Abel, God says that the blood of Abel is crying out to him from the ground. While it does not specifically say what it was saying, it would appear that it was calling for justice or vengeance for Abel's murder.
In Hebrew 12, it also says that the bood of Jesus speaks to God. But it has something better to say. Rather then calling for justice, it speaks of justice, and how through Jesus' actions things have been made right between God and man.
So it speaks out to God with a better message then did the blood of Abel.

Huh? Abel's sacrifice was Holy because he was a Pastoralist. Cain was a farmer, which God hated because he required Cain to cut down forests and try to make himself God. Abel was able to live in God's hands, eating when God said to, starving when God said to. Cain tilled the earth.
