well since the 80gig is only software backwards capable, while the 60gig is hardware backwards capable , bring the 80gig pricedone makes sense. We bought our 60gig at $599 and we do not regret it at all. It is worth every penny.

The price cuts really don't matter to me because I already have a 60GB PS3. I'm just upset that Sony is discontinuing the 60GB PS3 because I really wanted to buy another PS3 in maybe 3 or 4 years from now because the 60GB has the best backwards compatibility.
I'm sure the people that have been waiting to buy a PS3 are happy. Now is the best time to get one because some new PS3 exclusives are just a few weeks away and I bet that PS3 prices probably wont drop again in at least another year or more.

Well anyone who wants to buy one and hasn't yet is probably happy. People who are tired of Xbox fanboys who love to say no one will get the PS3 because it costs so much are happy.

I still am not, Its worth $300-$400. Seriously. all the good features are blue-ray and a good HD put out, (only if you have the HDTV, thats the only way it looks good) On a regular TV, It looks like PS2, I had it for 2 days and asked for a refund, No only that, but those japs are so friggen gay, they use the same front screen as the psp, why notmake a new one you jap heads.
