Hardwood floors are softer than concrete.

Could be you over did it when moving in.

I am on my feet all day long on THIN carpet of cement.

When I get Home, I am not on my feet much, I am resting for the next day.

Look for your answer somewhere else.

Get foot messages.

Soak your feet in the warm tub of water.

Elevate your feet by lying on the couch when watching TV for a while.

Get a cpuple of area rugs and walk on them if you are really convinced it is the floors causing problems.
I am not convinced at all.

At a guess I would say that feel unsafe and feel likely to slip. With this in mind you are possibly unconsciously trying to brace your limbs for a possible fall as you walk around. You may no be aware of it. I guess if this is so you have a few options:
Carpet the place
Wear non-slip shoes
Be aware of your posture.
Alternatively you are experiencing impact from a hard floor where you are most likely used to carpet and this is shocking your joints. Not very likely I must admit.
Finally it's a coincidence and the two events just happen about the same time and your joints hurt for another reason (possibly related to your new house though!). See if can spend time in a house without hardwood floors and see if the condition improves.
Your Doc might be able to give you a more definitive answer.

your muscles are going through a transition with the hardwood floors. I recommend you place throw carpets with rubber backing on areas that you walk or stand at (such as the kitchen sink and bathroom sink) this will ease the stress on your muscles.

Every evening soak it in a hot bath with 2c. of epsom salts For 30 minutes. Afterwards massage An analgesic cream into your ankles and knees. This will help with the pain. Also start taking 500mg of calcium and magnesium every day. Advil liquid capsules work very quickly for pain relief. You can use them four times daily.
