Have you tried breathing out closing your nose with your fingers? Like when you go on airplane?

If you are having an infection and there is a lot of fluid it might take a lot of effort to blow out and you might be unsuccessful

Do not worry it will clear up on its own.

I'd be careful holding nose and blowing out if there is a fluid build-up in your ears. You could possibly harm your eardrum. I've done this. I know it works, but just be very careful as to how hard you blow.

I was going to suggest this might be a build-up of wax. It has happened to my mother, who constantly has that. Some people just get more wax build-up than others.

I'd try ear wax removal drops. Don't put any q-tips in there though, if it's that bad, you're just going to push it deeper down.

I've used a capful of hydrogen perxoide and poured it straight into my ear. You can hear it crackle, gross, but it helps.

Sounds like fluid or wax build-up. If your balance is not off, then I'd say wax. Might take some time to get it cleared up, or you might need them cleaned out by a Dr. Don't sleep on that side tonight!

Never take any advice on the internet in place of a professional Dr. Please consult your Dr. Good luck

Probably you Eustachian tube is blocked. (Wax, mucus, whatever - sleeping on it caused a thin film as sides of the tube mushed on each other)

It is like ears "popping" on airline flights.

It sounds stupid, but chew gum. The other end of the tube is in your throat. Swallowing the saliva means it gets multiple pressure changes to try and equalizes pressure and break that mucus/wax/whatever barrier.
