Sure, why not? The "stinging of the scorpions' tails" that Revelation talks about could very well be a sickness brought upon mankind through biological warfare.

This will not happen. The future is not written in stone. A good and a moral God makes people earn the future honestly, through doing the work required, for the proper outcome. The Antichrist is a good tool, used in one book of the Bible, to make possible competitors to christian beliefs appear as potential monsters, to watch out for.

The Bible calls the antiChrist the Man of Lawlessness. As an instrument of Satan, I suppose his weapon will be deceit, i.e. a smooth tongue that appeases the lawless. By lawless I think that implies both those who do not believe in God and face judgement by the Law. Such a person is also likely to defy manmade rules of law as well.
When you look at the Middle East, is it really that hard to imagine a Man of Lawlessness arising?

The term anti-Christ means against all that Christ stands for.
It is not just one person in particular, but all who go against Christ.

The "Tim LaHaye" theology is all wrong.
