Vitamans seem to give me a headache and there are very few vegetables that I like. Sure, I will eat salad, but I will eat mostly lettuce. I am fifty years old, and I drink Ensure, but is that enough?

There is no shortcut. A balance diet is a must. Try healthy drinks like those from Herbalife which comes in a few flavours. Most vegetables if cooked with the right recipes can actually be very tasty. Meat as many studies have shown is best skipped as many of today illnesses have been proven to be caused by them. Anyway we are not born meat eaters contrary to what many people would like to think so. Just look at our teeth - they are similar to herbivorous animals eg. like goats & cows. Add in fruits and exercise moderately daily. Sleep well. And consume enough of clean plain water!

If you like salad maybe you could make one adding rocket, baby spinach and maybe avocado. It takes a while to adjust from iceburg lettuce but you could try a little at a time mixed in with your usual salad and dressing?
Do you like fruit? Maybe blend fresh or frozen raspberries or blueberries with your Ensure for a bit of a vitamin boost.
Carrot and orange juice is also pretty good and you can buy it pre-prepared in most supermarkets and the taste isn't so bad.
The rocket and baby spinach can be grown at home in containers from seed, grow some parsley on the windowsill too and sprinkle it to your dinner once finely chopped. Home grown always tastes best!
Best of health to you.

A variety of fruit along with a moderate amount of eggs and lean meat should give you just about everything you need.
You probably do like a few veggies like carrots, etc., so throw a few of those in.

Shouldn't worry about it. A mate of mine will only eat potatoes as veg and the only other veg I've ever seen him eat in 20 years is a bit of broccoli under duress from his missus and he's perfectly OK.
