Did you know gold melts at 1947 degrees and the best you could get from an outside fire is 1500 degrees?
Neither did the writers of this story,I feel.Or did Moses hastily construct a furnace?
Or is this yet another parable or metaphor we are not supposed to take seriously?

PSA 35:5 Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the LORD chase them. 1947? 1947?! is that the year Israel was created?!
