You're mistaken, though the ADL is no place to go for historical accuracy. You're off by a few zeros in each case.
For an objective look by the son of Holocaust survivors, please read Norman Finkelstein's "The Holocaust Industry". He's angry at the exploitation of the entire situation.

4000 people per day would have been a slow day at work- even in the smaller camps. The nazis did not kill just 6 milion Jews (though they were the biggest group) - the nazis killed over 17 milion people altogether- including ethnic Poles, Romani, Soviet civilians, Soviet prisoners of war, people with disabilities, homosexuals, Jehovah's Witnesses, and other political and religious opponents. first of al you must realise there were hundreds of concentration camps and many had branches. there were also "einsatzgruppen" actions- people in small Jewish towns or villages would be rounded up, murdered and burned without bothering to take them to any camp. The method was often extremely simple- force the people to enter a granary - then block the doors and burn the whole building the nazis preferred to use specialised camps- like Treblinka, Belzec and Sobibor. These did not even pretend to be work camps (like Aushvitz and its satellites) but were "pure" extermination camps. The Jews were shipped by railway- an average train would have up to 40 carriages, each with 150 adult people in a freight car or cattle car- and camps like Sobibor would accept several such transports per day... The method was simple- the train would be emptied and the people marched to "showers"- where they would strip and enter the "shower baracks". By that time they were tired, hungry and without hope- and they obeyed. Once in the Zyklon B gas would be thrown in and the people inside died within 30 minutes- but sometimes several hours (Zyklon B was not very effective- but it was extremely cheap). Then the "permament" inmates of the camp- the "Sonderkommando"- would empty the "shower room" and carry the bodies to the crematorium. Then the "shower room" was cleaned and the cycle was repeated. Aushvitz had 7 gas chamber-crematorium complexes. Majdanek also had 7. Sobibor used mostly open air pyres to get rid of the bodies (firewood and bodies piled together, then burned) How do we know how many died? We know how many were alive before the war. This is not a perfect method- some villages simply vanished and no one bothered to count the dead. However we also know the paperwork from many camps (the nazis were perfect bureaucrats). We know the number of "special trains". We know the tonnage of Zyklon B produced. In Majdanek- over 6 tonnes of human ashes were recovered. So we know.

You are mistaken.
Holocaust is a word meaning "Great destruction resulting in the extensive loss of life, especially by fire." It is usually reserved for situations such as the effects of a man-made disaster (e.g. "Nuclear Holocaust"). When used to refer to genocide, the word is rarely used except to describe the deaths of Jews and other victims of Nazi Germany during World War 2.
Although the true figure may never be known, here are estimates:
11 million people died.
6 million were Jewish (close to two thirds of Europe's Jewish population).
1.5 million were children.
In addition to Jews, Hitler targeted homosexuals, communists and other political dissidents, gypsies, slavs, Jehovah's witnesses, Protestant and Catholic priests, blacks, the mentally and physically disabled, and others.
There are approximately 250 Holocaust museums and centres around the world where you can learn more, as well as extensive information elsewhere on the Internet.
The Holocaust was systematically conducted in most areas of Nazi-occupied territory. Many were killed in specific death camps between 1942 and 1945, usually by being poisoned in gas chambers. The largest death camp was Auschwitz-Birkenau in Poland, responsible for the deaths of an estimated 1.6 million Jews. Prior to the death camps, killings were mainly by shootings. The Holocaust, authorised by Hitler himself, is believed to have been centrally planned by senior Nazi officials at the Wannsee conference held near Berlin on January 20 1942.

actually there were about 18 million jews around at that time... now there are 13-15 million, depending on who a survey considers to be a jew.
and i think the official number of jews who died in the holocaust is just under 6 million.

you are using 000 when you should be using 000,000 so get your numbers correct before asking the question. The biggest problem I have with the numbers of the jews killed is that it took 50 years before the story was told in any detail. So how much of it is fact and how much of it is fiction. There were awful things that happens to the jews in WWII but the other people of the world also faced death and hardships and the loss of loveones.

Do you even know where the numbers came from?
From the NAZIS' OWN BOOKKEEPING (caps for emphasis only).
Go to Dachau on a cloudy day and try this question again.
There's no denying the FACT of the Holocaust.
Even the Germans don't deny that it happened.

OK please do take yourself to the Holocaust Museum in Washington DC and then ask again after you've seen the empty shoes of those who died at the hands of the Nazi's.
That, by the way, would include thousands of non-Jews.

Morning Adolf.
Disgraceful. Try reading. There are literally thousands of accounts if you have the decency or strength of character to read them. Try talking to some of the survivors if you have a shred of humanity. Anything but this.
