i want to buy myself some cokins system p and i don`t know what would be the best for me

It depends on what you like to shoot. I would get a couple of ND, a grad ND, perhaps a tungsten and a soft focus. At least, those are the ones I have. If you get the B&H Photo catalog, they have oodles of filters and explain what each is used for. The most used filter for most folks is a polarizer, a circular polarizer would just screw mount to the lens, and not in the filter holder.

I'm just getting into Cokin myself. Visit the Cokin website, and checkout what they have and read about what they can all do....

Everyone can do well w/ a Polarizer. I just got myself the Star filter because I shoot concerts and it makes some neat lighting effects.....so yep depends on what you like to photograph! You have so many options!

Just go w/ it and have a blast!
