I think it is "thou shalt not steal"

If you kill someone you have stolen someone's love

if you steal something from someones home you had to have coveted it as well.

If you commit adultery then you ahve stolen someones trust

If you have an idol then you steal your faith from GOD

And while I am here I want to ask this too..God accepted Slavery and yet man has made it against the law.

Don't believe me...here is one of his commandments in length

But the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God; you shall not do any work—you, or your son or your daughter, or your male or female slave, or your ox or your donkey, or any of your livestock, or the resident alien in your towns, so that your male and female slave may rest as well as you.

So what is up with the whole "slavery is ok in the commandments?"

I would like to say more but eventually even I tire of writing'

THE WHOLE POINT IS THAT I SEE NOWHERE WHERE GOD SAYS HAT MAN SHOULD NOT OWN MAN.

You would think that that would be a commandment.

THOU shalt not own another human being for all beings human or not belong to me and to own a human makes you GOD like and I will not have it!

“TEACHER, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” asked one of the Pharisees. Jesus said to him: “‘You must love Jehovah your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole mind.’ This is the greatest and first commandment. The second, like it, is this: ‘You must love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments the whole Law hangs, and the Prophets.”—Matt. 22:34-40.

You are touching on the spirit of the law, which is good, but you haven't yet taken the thought all the way out to its logical conclusion.

As far as slavery, it existed but was not condoned by God. God set the bounds for Israel regarding slaves so that slaves would not be abused.

All the law is fulfilled through love, including the sabbath command. Regardless, only Israel was required to keep this covenant law.

Don't boil a young goat in the milk of its mother.

1) Thou shalt worship no other God. 2) Thou shalt make thee no molten gods. 3) The feast of unleavened bread shalt thou keep. 4) Six days thou shalt work, but on the seventh day thou shalt rest. 5) Thou shalt observe the feast of weeks. 6) Thrice in the year shall all your menchildren appear before the Lord God. 7) Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leaven. 8) Neither shall the sacrifice of the feast of the passover be left until the morning. 9) The first of the firstfruits of thy land shalt thou bring unto the house of the Lord thy God. 10) Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother's milk.

I myself cannot resist the urge to boil a goat in the milk of its mother, and as such break this commandment daily.Mmmmmm, boiled goat.

None is more important than the other. That's a serious mistake and trap that people fall into. Believing that one is more important means that you can take the others less seriously. Now as far as effecting us the most I would say that it would have to be the 1st commandment. Thou shalt have no other Gods before me.
People walk away from their faith everyday and it causes them to live unholy lives. And yes that leads to theft of the things you mentioned.
<>< :) thanks

they are all equal, that is why they were created. The one that effects me the most is no coveting. i want to be thin like I see some ppl in public. i want to drive a car, ( and not fer it) like I see others doing, i want to be a writer, and covet the talent I see others, ( like Snadra brown, Danielle Steele, Cassie Edwards, and others, ) do, I wanted to have faith and be faithful, strong in my walk with god, ( Like Joel Osteen, and Joyce Meyer, Billy Graham,) do, I wanted to be pretty, like the girls in jr. high school and be popular, like they were, and i could go on and on, but u get the point. Plus, i wanted to be in the arms of someone famous, I wont name names, but he was in that movie, Titanic, and he played Jack Dawson. I wanted... I wanted... I wanted... u get the point.

Well you have already answered your question. I was going to say. The fourth commandment: "Honor thy parents!" how many of us do this faithfully?

It is a shame that slavery was around in biblical times, but it was.

They are all equally important! The first answer was the best!

The first commandment is the most important. All the others depend on this one.
