I do a big grocery shop every 2 or 3 weeks spending about $250 which includes cleaning products, reduced-priced meats (to freeze), cosmetic products like soap, shampoos, and razors; and some fruit and veges.
I buy milk and bread daily, and regularly top up through the week. I don't buy a lot of fresh seafood because it's always so expensive and usually lacks quality and freshness.
Clothing? It's always the same old story. If you go out loaded with cash looking to buy something you can never find just the thing and if you do, it's massively over-priced. I wait until the end of season sales and then it sits in my wardrobe for a year.

Meat, chicken and seafood I buy in bulk about every 3 months or so. Groceries when I need to I find I save money if I don't have a set day, same with fruit and veggies. Clothing is if I need something for an occasion or if I see something on special. I like to buy bread and milk daily so its fresh. Can I ask why do you ask? Just seems a different question.

I shop once a week and its usually on Fridays at the Fresh food market to buy meat and vegies and fruit and then I shop at local supermarket to buy all the rest.
Helps us save money that way.
Oh and I always eat before I shop because i tend to not buy so much junk food as I have already eaten & lost my appetite.
As for clothes shopping, I shop when I need something which can be anywhere from each fortnight to a month

I go to the grocery store about 4 times a week. I don't do a big shopping day anymore really. I stock up a bit things that are on sale on a regular basis, and I pick up whatever I need whenever I run out of it.
Clothing, not much, once or twice a year whenever there's a clearance sale and I have expendable cash. I don't remember when, haven't really paid any attention. Last time I picked up clothes was in late spring I think.

I do meat one a week and freeze what I have to.
I do the green vegetables and fruit three times a week. Fresh is best you know!
Seafood - who the hell can afford seafood Mauz.. I mean Octopuss!
Clothing - once every two years or so. Lately I have been wearing "hand me downs" from my friend's teenage children as I have been on a diet and exercise regime!
You seem to have the hang of this Yaoo Answers thingy.

I shop in the grocery store about 4 days a week, and order online for delivery about once a week. I can't remember the last time I went shopping for or bought clothes. Probably some time last year.

I get paid once a month so I shop once a month.
If I went shopping as much as everyone else that answered here, I'd have to put 3 tankfuls of gas into the car and I couldn't afford the gas. I live totally on $623.00 a month. That pays the rent, the utilities, the food, the clothing, And computer hardware. I'm on a tight budget!

I shop impulsively. Sometimes on line, other times at the shops. I probably shop twice a week. My allowance is only $50 a week!
