hmm a jog for 4 hours? i wonder where this marathon runner went... perhaps for a jog around the park and then some pizza, maybe a little sight seeing? yeah i would say that jogging for 4 hours is stretching the truth just a little bit.. my personal opinion is unless he runs in marathons then he wasn't out jogging..
if this happened to me i would definitely debate it with him.
if you want to talk about it sometime drop me an email..

The time isn't that strange, its a great time to train, quiet peaceful and training in the morning is best for you. speeds up the metabolism all day. Everyone is different and those saying it's a crazy time to run, are just not as dedicated to those who do it. I think you mean three quarters of an hr. If so, this isn't a long time to train at all.
You have to ask yourself has he done anything else to let you believe he is cheating, also is he a dedicated runner, you should no if he is the type who does these things. I used to go swimming in the sea on a morning in northern Ireland in winter when there is a pool down the road. My girl thinks i nuts but its just a different way of training, eg army or marathon runners train in ways others who just go the gym would think to be crazy.
IF not convinced just follow him, not on the way out but wait by a window or outside about 5 - 10 Min's before he usually turns up. you will see if he is in a car or walking or in fact running,

No to answer your question its not ok if he was going to be gone for a good 4 hours i would have expected a phone call or something also did he bring money with him? what could he do for 4 hours just in a jogging suit?
Well they do say trust is key for a relationship but it is hard when people do misuse the trust you give them all so oftern so i would just ask him up front how come you were gone so long and expect a decent answer.

The time of morning is not an issue. Many people will go out early to jog so they can be out of traffic, or heat. 3-4 hour "jogs" are way to long. You need to find out what is going on. This does not sound right at all.

Usually 3-4 hours of jogging is unusual - unless training for marathons. Maybe you should suggest to go jogging with just to see the reaction. if there is suspicious activity, the immediate answer would be that you would not like to go for that long or a flat out no.

You have GOT to be kidding.
Either:
He is an insomniac training for a marathon and cannot run during the day due to allergies, etc.
OR
He is banging some other women.
Does he even LOOK like he works out? Next time he goes out, follow him. I'll bet you he's not running...he's chasing skirts.
To answer your question, how is this OK if you have to ask this question in the first place? Obviously you are concerned. And you should be.

I'm sorry but I'd rather be tucked up in bed with my other 'arf than pounding the streets jogging. 3am is a dangerous time to be out on your own. Sorry but this is complete nonsence if your partner is out for 3-4 hours.....do they come back dripping in sweat, do you know if they are in training for a marathon??? Best you try and find out hard facts about this routine and take it from there.

if by 3/4 you mean 45 minutes I don't find that suspicious at all. I do think jogging at 3am is insane!! Don't you people like to sleep??
Anyway, if its 3 or 4 hrs then he's probably up to something else which he obviously does not wish to share.
How about you ask him ???

Is this something that has started happening recently? Could be he has somehting on his mind and needs to get out of the house to think. Or it could be something much fishier- but in reality, who has an affair at 3 in the morning? You'd think you'd make an attempt to be subtle.
Either way, you really need to talk to him. Ask him if something is bothering him and explain that you're worried about him. Don't accuse him of anything, stay calm and listen to what he says. There's obviously something on his mind.

Depends. On where the jogging occurred, if she/he stopped anywhere, etc.
I would find it odd, but unless other things going on in the relationship were a bit weird, I might not really think anything of it. Especially if he/she is an early riser.
