Yeah I've heard of it all right, we were laughing about them at work not too long ago. They're a stupid gimmick - why would you want to use an electric current on your dog when there are spot-ons available from vets that actually work?
Flea combing doesn't work anyway because you'd never in a million years get all the fleas, and certainly not the eggs - and adding an electric current won't help!!

I had one, they are rubbish, the fleas only come onto the dog to feed, so for them to be effective, you need too be combing the dog 24 hours of the day. The only way to rid your dog, and home of fleas is to use frontline, as this actually renders fleas sterile, and they cannot breed once they have fed from a treated animal, so eventually, after a few weeks, the problem is erradicated.

Yes I've heard of them, they do kill kill the fleas, but not the eggs so you have to keep using it regularly as the eggs keep hatching because when they become adult fleas they will lay more eggs, and you will never be clear of fleas.

Yes, some times it does the job but Its a regular thing that you have to keep up. Prevention is far better than cure, use Frontline or something like it.

You can buy such combs for humans; for head-lice, but I would suggest telephoning your local pet store or vet and ask them if there is one on the market for dogs.

yea my mom had one she use to use it on the cats all the time it was really good if they are short haired it does wonders if they are long haired you have to make sure most of their fur isn't matted to use it and your cat should be going round matted get it shavaed or trimed :)

you should phone the vet and ask him about it and if it really works? You might be cheaper with frontline spray for your dog and for the carpets.
