Catnip is actually a member of the mint family & the fresh herb has a slight minty aroma to it. Many cats enjoy its taste & scent & often react to it as to a mild stimulant, but not all cats care for it. Humans can drink catnip tea, I think it's helpful for some digestive upsets.
Cat grass is usually wheat grass, sometimes with barley or other grass mixed in. Many cats enjoy nibbling it & it can keep them from bothering your houseplants so much.

Cat Grass is just wheat grass, or grass like on the lawn. It is tasty and cats like to nibble it to sooth the stomach etc,, whereas Cat Nip is a weed, looks almost like a nettle, with a distinct odor they go nuts over, but also like to eat.

There is one more herb cats like: Japanese call it 'Mata tabe', available in pet shops, and cats swoon over that.
