I know a lot about computers and many different programming languages, but this is a feature I would think these programs should have and yet I cannot find a way to lock them.

I use Mozilla Firefox primarily. What I want to know is whether or not there is a way to lock the window so I don't accidently exit it. I have a tendancy of doing that. While I'm working I having many windows open and I'd like to have one that's connected to the internet that I cannot close by clicking the X.

Any advice here is appreciated.

Check by running any of the following: gpedit.msc or service.msc

Look for an option that will "disable" user from closing the IE window, if given, enable it.

However, I would caution you to back-up first since you will be making changes to your registry.

The best option is, frequent intervals of rest (every 30 mins.) during computer use. This limits user-error.
