All of the above. Sometimes God gives His people dreams about upcoming events so they can pray or do something ahead of time. It happens a lot actually.

I don't know. I haven't met with death yet in a car crash, or had my brains blown out by the mob for not paying the vig or been crushed in a hail of falling pillars from the clouds, or gotten Angelina Jolie pregnant so I'd say they're reflections of things seen and felt. Humans just have a need to complicate everything in their lives is all. They can't see dreams as they would a bird shitting on a leaf but it has to have some great meaning. I take them as they come and just comment with a hmmm that was odd and get on with life.

In the days of the Patriarchs and Prophets in the Old Testament times yes. Because God only reveals His secret to Prophets, like Daniel, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezequiel, Amos, and all the prophets in the Old Testament. But in our days, dreams are products of our imagination, worries, excitements, problems that often bothers us. If there is a dream that come true, its only a coincidence. Dreams has nothing to do with our past, present or future.

They are your sub-conscious, so perhaps you can predict things by going on what has happened before or what is happening, you know - if your parents are constantly arguing you may have a dream that they get divorced - and this could be a prediction of the future, or it could just be your sub-conscious fears.
The bible is very into dreams, saying that for most people they are the only commmunications you get from angels. And they might tell you the future or forewarn you about things to come.

If you can tap in when you are lucid dreaming... You can tap into it all. I was in a lucid dream state, And looked for the 3 digit lotto number.. I saw it..played it..ad watched it come out in order. 300 something bucks. Now I want the big lotto with no luck. lol. Dreams are representations of your life. Things in a dream are symbolic. Its in a code. It is like understanding tarot cards. They are all in symbols. Many of the things you see are personel symbols. They have meaning to you but the same thing seen in a dream like a dog or a cat etc might have a differant meaning to someone else. I think the visions you have, have personal meanings and its up to u to decode them.
I can interpret your dreams on a generic level...what most dream meanings mean, but not on a personel level. Dream power is very powerful if you can harness it. Yes it can tell you the future.

Dreams are based on experience..... those dreams where we experience something on the basis that it may come to pass, are called "precognitive".... Which often come to pass within 3 days.... These are reflective to the dreamer on a personal level and are precognitive because it is specific to them......

Dreams of the future are called "prophetic". It is not specific to a particular dreamer because it is not meant for the dreamer. It is meant for a mass of people..... they are not the kind of dreams that occur within 3 days, but often take years and even decades to occur..... they are not about any one particular dreamer... and are used by those who are known as "witnesses"..... the witnesses are those who are unknown to each other and are the kinds of dreams that have specific similarities that are but puzzle pieces and will need more than one individual to put the "big picture" together........

If you would like to understand more on prophetic dreams, you are welcome to view my blog on the matter......

However, dreams can take place at any time of our lives.... While I can only tell a man his past.... I have a friend who can tell a man his future using the same dream....And yet, we are both confirmed as accurate........

they can do all. when you dream its your sub conscious talking to you and reflecting how you feel or what is on your mind. i have actually had a couple of dreams where it predicted my future and actually happened a few days after. it was pretty intense but now i know to trust my instinct and follow my heart.

yes, if you happen to give good interpretation of the dream, it gives you the future... if you happen to give a good correlation of the past and the present state, dream reflects them pretty accurately... keep dreamin... with your eyes full open... to achieve a best result of the future, and understand the past and present... good luck and best wishes...
