Ah yes Mr Jello but the sun makes the air in a greenhouse hotter than that outside the greenhouse. In emitting so much CO2 we are raising the levels of a gas which allows the sun's radiation in to heat the earth, but restricts the heat radiation from the earths surface back out into space. Yes the sun is responsible for all warmth on the planet (apart from a small heat flow from the core) but greenhouse gases mean we absorb more. Why repeat an argument which has been shot down so many times before????

There are things that people should do to save energy which are easy and will also save money.
You can take a look around your home and think about all the things you could turn off.
Turn off lights after you leave an empty room.
Turn down the heating or air conditioning in your home, leave your sweater on instead of turning up the heat.
Turn the tv off when your not watching it - same with your computer.
If you have a car, keep the tyres pumped up cause low tyres waste fuel.
Clean all the junk out of your boot (trunk).
Take a walk if you can instead of using your car. It's good for you and short trips wear out your engine faster.

Global warming simplified is elevating temperature atmospherically. The reasons scientist argue about it is because we can't see the temperatures we are designing for.
Architects design a building with regional temperatures except 100% of it is done in a calculator. At the end of the day, the architects, tradespeople and the city the building was built in are signed off as compliant with environmental codes. The an insurance company picks up liability because building problems aren't usually discovered while under warranty.
The University of British Columbia in Vancouver recently reported new buildings on campus making medical staff and researchers sick. One end of the building was freezing and the other side is superheated. Building consultants are so lost by not seeing actual function of a building, their recommendations are to put heaters on the cold side of the building and refrigeration on the hot side.
That alone tells you they are reacting to symptoms of the problem.
This is a little background for you because you can take to a Civic's class that we shouldn't be painting our buildings dark absorbent colors. Home Depot makes over 70 billion a year and when I asked them for black exterior paint, they didn't hesitate because they don't understand that a coat of paint can take a building outside its design criteria.
I substantiated this evidence with over 17,000 hours of research specific to building performance. Go to http://www.thermoguy.com/globalwarming-heatgain.html and look at building performance with solar exposure. You will see building temperatures as high as 198 degrees F on a 92 degree day. That temperature differential simply means global warming as the hotter building give off their heat to the atmosphere.
Please look at shade cover and the impact of trees and functional landscaping. It is amazing to see the function of a tree while the buildings cook.
You could encourage people to plant trees, vines and other landscaping to eliminate the heat we are generating.
The project you are working on is important, you and your classmates are the future guardians of the environment. It may seem trivial but try breathing without oxygen or living without water.
Global warming is not only very real, it is more alarming than Gore understands or the rest. I saw Planet in Peril with CNN and once again, they had professionals on the show that know nothing about emissions or why they are created. These guys are responding to symptoms of heat they can't see.
Good luck with your important report, let me know if I can help.

Go to original sources, like the National Snow and Ice Data Center. They have charted the decline in Arctic sea ice, with easy-to-understand descriptions. The EPA also has a large amount of information. The National Climate Data Center also has a ton of terrific data.
Don't rely on secondary sources that may interpret the data for you. Reach your own conclusions! That will make the best project.

In order to combat the ill effects of Global Warming, there is a need to plant in concerted effort all around the world huge edible fruit bearing trees more particularly in metropolies cities and highly urbanized cities where concentration of all pollutants abound. There is likewise a must to shift from the use of Fossil Energy to Renewable Sources of Energy like the Solar, Hydro, Geotermal, Natural Gas and other sources to name a few.

A lot of other peoples money, very little substance.
Or you could go with the facts and show that the Sun is responsible for all warmth on the planet
