is canberra university(australia) a good one?

I studied in Canberra, but at ANU (which is the best university in Australia, and the only Australian University ranked in the top 20 unis in the world).
It depends what you are studying - I knew people who studied there, and its good for things in sports related fields, I remember it was very strong that way, and it had a good name for teaching qualifications.
It all depends on what you want to study - for Law, Medicine, Science, Arts I would recommend ANU, just because the facilities they have there are better than at any other University in Australia and that have facilities that aren't available at other Uni's. ANU has 5 library's, 1 for each discipline (2x Law, Science, Arts and a generally one), and as a student at Uni of Canberra you are allowed to borrow books from there and make use of the facilities.
I read a report a couple of months back and Canberra Uni was one of the topped ranked Unis in Australia based on overall marks.
Not sure if you live in Canberra or not, but if you don't, its much cheaper cost of living when compared with Melbourne or Sydney - the cost of living on campass is so much better - Melbourme the average price was $10,000 for a 30 to 33 week contract, in Canberra I paid $8000 for a 40week contract - and the public transport is one of the best in Australia.
Depends on what you are studying, but it is a good University.
There are many pluses to studying in Canberra, so whatever you decide good luck and hope you get into the cource ya want

University of Canberra is a great university, as both of my parents are lecturers there. It all depends on what your going to study there. If your interested in graphics design then I reckonmend it as for other courses I'm not sure about.

Besides that it's a great University and the ANU (Australian National University) is another great University as well and it's also right in the city where as the University of Canberra (UC) is in the northern suburbs of Canberra but there is a bus route that goes past the university including the ANU as well.

The Australian National University in Canbarra is in the top five in the country. It has a great international reputation. Canberra uni is very new and I know very little about it but I doubt it is as good as ANU.

Go to Melbourne, Monash or Sydney Uni - top 3 in my opinion
