In my opinion, it sounds like a form of pancreaitis. This will make you quite ill and cause pain and nausea. Also it will effect your blood sugar levels. It can be acute or chronic. It can be a very serious situation though. You need to go back to the doctor and tell them again and do not stop until you get them to find the culprit to this problem. It would cause pain in that spot but it can be one of many things. Get back to the dr now and go to a specialist if you have to. If your General Practicianer is not taking care of this, you can go to an internal medicine specialist which will do a lot more tests.

gallbladder disease!!!
If you have a gallstone, every time you eat your gallbladder goes to do what it is supposed to, squirt out bile to neutrilize and digest whatever you just ate. Your gallbladder starts pumping and this stone is getting in the way and causing it to spasm causing pain. It will do this most every time you eat. Fatty foods, anything with seeds, spicy foods, etc... I cant believe your doctor didnt automatically think of this! This can cause acute pancreatitis as well... I would suggest bringing this up to your doctor and dont take NO for an answer or seek another doctor.
This happened to me for over 2 years and they kept doing ultrasounds on my gallbladder and it always came back clear. Finally after about 30 times of going to the doctor and I kept complaining of this, they sent me to nuclear medicine and had this dye test done where they put dye in and did a scan for 1 hour... it showed that my gallbladder was SLIGHTLY slow. ONE time I had blood work done and my liver enzymes were elevated which is an indication of gallstones... and this is one out 20 at the least. Finally after the nuclear medicine test, the doc seen it was slow, he thought this was it all along and sent me for surgery. It ended up I had very tiny gallstone, but I had a cyst at the opening of my gallbladder that was blocking the opening doing essentially the same thing a gallstone would do.
Back pain is another common sign of gallbladder disease. Insist they do an ultrasound. There is no reason for you to live like that. And as far as the diabetes goes, you dont have to be obese to have diabetes. My guess is that is something completely unrelated. Good luck!

You could have a tumor pushing against the stomach that is causing severe irritation when you are filling your stomach with food. When you eat, your stomach stretches but if there is something in the way, it is going to hurt. This irritation could be convincing your body to expel whatever is in your stomach because of the constant pain. Your being cold all the time could be related to the fact that you are not getting the appropriate nutrients your body needs to have sufficient and ample blood flow/supply. You could also just have poor circulation. I'd get another scan and a second opinion from another doctor and inquire about a tumor that could be growing.

Hi, you need to get a blood test for Coeliacs disease which may be what is causing the pain after eating. Do not go off any food prior to the test or you will muck up the results. Have a look on the web for more info - I recommend the UK Coeliacs society. This disease has side effects such as the ones you have stated because your body is not absorbing nutrients and vitamins. If you do have it then you have to avoid gluten probably soy and dairy is recommended. You will need to find a doctor that is a qualified nutritionist to help you get better, too.

You're freezing because you're not eating enough. Food = calories, calories = energy, which can be converted to heat or motion, or stored, by your body.
Does this happen with everything you eat? Can you drink water without this happening? Can you consume a nutrient balanced meal replacement shake, like 'ensure' or 'boost'? That's what they give patients at the hospital that need to bulk up.
Aim for proteins, and cut out the sugars and artificial sweetners... my grandma's an underweight diabetic - it's not unheard of, but crossing the verge might be avoidable.

These severe pains located on the upper quadrant or epigastric area of the abdomen might be due to inflammation of the gallbladder ( Cholecystitis) or gallstones (Cholelithiasis) or Acute Pancreatitis esp when the pains radiate to the back and after eating a fatty diet. or even GERD or IBS. or gastic ulcer or diverticulosis, or gastritis.
In Acute Pancreatitis, the body is unable to digest fats. There is diminished production of pancreatic enzymes to help in the digestion of fats.
It could be referred pain from rupture of ovarian cyst.
To play safe, better be seen by a gastroenterologist.
Your problem for being cold might be due to hypothyroid; hypoglycemia or generalized poor circulation. or even Anemia either Iron or other mineral deficiency such as copper, magnesium or zinc. You might need to correct your diet to afford proper nutrition to your body.

It could be cholecystitis, pancreatitis or there could be a tumor somewhere or near the stomach.
The referred back pain, nausea/vomiting could be cholecystitis or pancreatitis.
