The good news is that only one person has died so far. The bad news is that there are a dozen fires in various parts of the area, from San Diego County to Castaic. There have been really strong Santa Ana winds today, and that, combined with drought conditions, have created most of the problems. The Malibu fire, for example, was started when some electric lines were blown down. It is currently only 10% contained, and has burned over 2,000 acres.

We are having our santa ana winds right now and the fires have zero containment! It's getting bad..the winds are about 60 mph where the fires are and firefighters currently caant do much.

they are evacuating over 250,000 homes keep postd by radio or tv on local channels. Over 1000 homes are in danger or have been destroyed. Schools as far as San Diego have been closed down due to air quality. right now its pretty bad in Rancho Bernardo, Scripps and Carmel Valley. But even parts of Del MAr have been evacuated. Some of my friends have lost there homes already and my cousins are on call to get evacuated. If you have any other questions email me if you want

All I have to say is....

FU ARSONISTS!

Its no coincidence that a billion fires all started on the same freakin day. Yes, some of them were started by car fires, etc. but I bet you over half of them are arsonists who get a kick outta causing mass hysteria and destruction.

Makes me sick.
