You are right. Here today, gone tomorrow is just what the bible says.
So be sure of the truth and act on it before it's too late.
"It is appointed for man once to die and after death the judgment". Choose life whilst you can.

because we're humans... so exactly what are you if you aren't human? Or are you just trying to act like some wise guy with some serious brain problem? the second one's more likely. If you live in doubt then what would be the point in living? like you said "gone in a flash" well if you live in doubt then your life pretty much sucks and it flies by faster. You have more time to do the important things if you are"so firm on what you know"

We're working on it. We have already extended the average human life span in the US from 43 years to 78 years since 1900.

The best bet at immortality, now, seems to be cloning, along with dumping our memories into a silicon-based brain. We've been cloning mammals for more than a decade, and we're all using the same silicon brain right now.

Human immortality is now in the science fiction stage - like Jules Verne's trip to the moon was when he wrote about it in the 19th century. Stick around. If you can.

Right. I also dislike know-it-all humans who seem to think they run the world when the reality is....we are so powerless. We can't even stop forest fires or tornadoes. Duh.

(And our knowledge is chicken compared to what our predecessors might have and so forth. It's worth giving praise to our achievement so far but there is no reason to be so cocky about it.)

Begone!! Lightning Descent!!

(I'm smart enough not to take your question seriously. Intelligence is not measured by a person's time on earth)

Because we have faith, and sorry to burst your bubble but all humans are smart some of us use our brains more than others though. Without our faith there would be no point to life, at least we have a point to our life whats the point to your life?

Because as far as I know, I am the smartest man that ever lived. My secret is refusing to learn about anyone smarter than me.

Well...because some of us are pretty damned smart.
Think a minute before you ask these questions.
Life span has nothing to do with intelligence and/or perception.
