I am getting my nose periced, you know one of those tiny ones, not a big obnoxious one. I have scratched my nose on the skin b4 and it hurts alot, and i end up tearing...in your opinon will getting my nose pierced hurt worse then that, or what??? also, plz no smart mouth remarks like "then dont have it done" or "why would you "deform" your body like that" I want it done, and if i hate it, i can take it out...thnx in advance..

If just scratching your nose hurts you really bad.... I won't lie... it's probably going to hurt a lot... I have a very high tolerance for pain... But if you really want it done... and think you can handle the pain... go for it... As you said.. you can always take it out... Remember though... pain is only temporary... it will go away...

My suggestion is for you to consult the doctor for an advice before undergoing the piercing. Yeah, it is easy to say that when you hate it you can take it out. What i am concerned is the eventualities after the piercing that you might get hurt more than as you have scratched your nose before.

Any kind of piercing is going to hurt to an extent....just like getting a tattoo hurts. It's a short amount of pain in a very short amount of time to get something done you want done. I would honestly think it would hurt less to have it pierced than an injury like you described but you never know I guess until you do it. And don't worry about what other people think of you doing it. It may not be something everyone would want to have done but there's nothing wrong with it if you do. :-)

Everyone I pierced in the nose had had watery eyes some say it hurt more than other piercing they had done. Everyone is different. You will feel a stinging sensation/ or a burning sensation, that is what my clients have told me. Get a cute little diamond nose stud and you'll be fine. Good Luck

I have my nose pierced I have for over a year now...when I got it done I am not going to lie it hurts ALOT. It sound like you have extreme sensitivity so I wouldn't recommened it but if you insist take some pain medicine right AFTER you get it done. Or get a piercing somewhere else...sorry if this wasn't what you were looking for.

Out of all my piercings my nose hurt by far the most... It is just a sensitive part of your body... If it hurts you so bad just to scratch it you will probably find it will hurt alot more to have a needle stabbed through it....

it really depends on your pain tolerance..
when i got mine done it felt about the same as getting my ear lobes pierced.. maybe a tad but worse..
when compared to my belly button piercing it tickled..
but i have a pretty moderate pain tolerance..
i think you'll be just fine though.. shouldn't hurt anymore than having your nose torn.. a lot less i'd imagine..
get it done at a reputable shop please.. and take good care of it..

and don't take anything like aspirin or tylenol before you go like someone suggested.. it thins your blood and you'll bleed a lot more than you would without the meds..

Well it shouldnt hurt at all. come on its just like getting your ears periced. they didnt hurt so getting your nose shouldnt hurt!!! anyways if it does hurt it will only last for a second anyway!!! i got my belly button done and that took like 5 minutes for them to do it!!! that didnt hurt one bit!!! go for it!!! dont be a wimp!!!
oh and when you get it done make sure you clean it regularly so it doesnt get infected!!!

my best friend got one done she said it didn't hurt, but everyone experiences pain differently, some people can have a high tolerance to pain others don't. It all depends on you, just be brave!!!
And take something strong before you go!!
