Shaolt, her answer basically told me to go read a thousand page book, rather then giving me an actual answer that really helps explain something about my question.

The same reason he created all other sinners: He wouldn't be a fair God if he only created everything/one who he knew wouldn't go against him. He made us with the power of will... He knows it isn't fair to force someone against their will, so he doesn't, that includes Satan.

He created this beautiful angel as one of the most high and to rule over everything in the earth, but Satan, not God chose to begin his envy and jealously of God, so being that Satan had free will he could have chosen to love God and his creation, but he chose to be evil.
He really became envious and jealous after God created the first humans, Adam and Eve wanting Adam and Eve to worship him, not God. This is why Satan's days are numbered.
If you know that this question has been answered, please do a search on the forum, though again, I've answered this question.
James 1: 12 - 15
Happy is the man that keeps on enduring trial, because on becoming approved he will receive the crown of life, which Jehovah promised to those who continue loving him. When under trial, let no one say: “I am being tried by God.” For with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone. But each one is tried by being drawn out and enticed by his own desire. Then the desire, when it has become fertile, gives birth to sin; in turn, sin, when it has been accomplished, brings forth death.
Satan, and all evil men/women in the earth have but a short time left. Satan knows this thus the outrageousness in the world today, but wicked humans are to blame also. Beware.
Hope this has helped.

Isa 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these [things].
Exd 32:14 And the LORD repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.
satan is from a different mythology not incorporated into the bible until after 300 CE
YHWH has no necessity for a lesser god to balance the scales. he's on all sides.
culture created the devil out of necessity once the gods began becoming personal gods rather than local dieties.

In the Qur'an Surah 38 Shaad verse 71 up to 85 God (Allah)spoke the God created humans from soil, angels from light and satans or iblises from fire.God instructed angels and satans to kneel down to humans but only angels did it.Satans did not want to kneel down to humans because they felt that they were more honourable than humans because they were created from fire..God sopke that satans were conceit..In verse 82 and 83 With the permission of God satans will always mis lead humans to the wrong path.,except humans who have the strong faith to God. In verse 85 Allah spoke that Allah will fill hell with satans and all humans who followed satans.God created satans because God needs some creatures who will test humans whether they have strong faith or weak faith..God has given life guide that is holy book the latest Qur'an and God has given humans a free choice for complying life guide or non complying it..Besides that God needs angels to assist God to conduct what God has given them the insructions such as to record the good doings and bad doings of humans accurately..

God created Satan perfect. If you read the Bible, Torah, or Koran, you'll find that Satan was one of the angels. In fact, Lucifer, as he was then called, is said to have been the most beuatiful of all the angels, and according to some scholars, he was second to God in the angelic heirarchy. This got to his head and he started a rebellion, which he lost. He was stripped of his title and labeled as Satan (as he is called now) and cast into a Hell created especialy for him and his gang. Satan, being a rotten sport, decided to wreck everything God made (the sore loser...).
To answer your question, Satan/Lucifer had the CHOICE of wether or not to love God. Love isn't realy love unless you CHOOSE to love (which obviously, Satan didn't).
I hope I have been of service.

God created Satan because if you only did what God said without any temptation then it would not be the same. Picture it this way.... if you were the only man on earth and there was only one woman or many and one of them tell you that they love you, would you think they really love you or the fact is that they do not have a choice? Now if it was you and other men and only one woman left and she said that she wants to be with just you then you would feel really special and know that her love is genuine.

He created Lucifer just like he created me and you.
God gave us and Lucifer free will, it was Lucifer's own will to rebel against God. When Lucifer fell from heaven, then he became Satan the fallen angel. God created us and the angels cause he was lonely and wanted someone who would be as children to him, someone he could love and would love him back. Lucifer was a bitter and sour person, he wanted to be God, basically he was jealous, and we all know that envy is an ugly green monster.

At the time God created the devil, he was an angel. God even said that satan was the most precious cherub. This cause satan to feel proud, and made him want to exalt above God. So God showed satan, that nothing or no one can be above God.

satan was created perfect by God. satan himself chose to flee from God. GOd gave him free will. but satan had a desire in him, for all to worship him. and so, satan went against God. and if u r wondering y GOd didnt destroy satan... well, just think... if God destroyed satan, what woold the angels think. wouldn't they say that God destroyed satan because maybe satan was correct(about the fact that humans don;t need God) . so, it God showed his wisdom when he didn't choose to destroy Satan but rather let him live and i think we all noe the result as we can see in the world today(much pain and suffering). but of course, God promises a hope for us in the future.

God tells us that he only created mankind and jinn only to worship him.
Jinns are the unseen world, they were created from a smokeless fire. They jinn are communities like us, meaning they have children, work, play etc. Among them are believers and non believers just like mankind. Now jinns are not supposed to mingle with mankind, but the one that do are know as the disobedient or the devils. Devils can change take on different forms and even get inside of object. This is were people get the concept "Ghost" from but they are not Ghost for they are Jinns. The Chief among the devils is Satan.
Satan did not want to prostrate to Adam because he seen that he was created from sound clay and he was created from fire, so he thought he was better in creation.
Allah (Arabic word for God, the only True God)
Surah 2 vs 34
And (remember) when I said to the angels: " Prostrate yourselves to Adam." And they prostrated except Ibis ( Satan), he refused and was proud and was one of the disbelievers ( disobedient to Allah)
Surah 4 vs 117 -Noble Quran-
They (all those who worship others than Allah) invoke nothing but female deities besides Him (Allah), and they invoke nothing but Shaitan ( Satan), a persistent rebel!
118
" Allah cursed him. And he {shaitan (Satan)} said: "I will take and appointed portion of your slaves.
119
Verily, I will mislead them, and surely, I will arouse in them false desires; and certainly, I will order them to slit the ears of cattle, and indeed I will order them to change the nature created by Allah." And whoever takes Satan as a Wali (protector or helper) instead of Allah, has surely suffered a manifest lost.
Satan asked Allah to grant him respite for a time so in order to take as many people to hell as possible.
