No, the misery around us has nothing to do with God's wacky sense of humor. But, I do think God has a sense of humor -- have to considered the platypus? ;-)
Otherwise, to answer your question... God has to allow this misery because satan has accused God of being a dictator. Satan has also claimed that he could do a better job of governing the universe than God. Thus, God is allowing satan to show his true colors by the misery satan creates around us every day. So, God gives us our free choice to serve Him or to serve satan. There is no middle ground. At some point, when mankind's cup of iniquity is full, God will put a permanent end to all sin and to the devil, too.

I believe God has a sense of humor, just look at random animals, like an example I've heard alot: the platypus.
If we're talking about problems going on in the world, God has a reason for everything. We may not know it or understand it, but He does and that's really all that matters.

God does have a sense of humor, or we would not have it also, we are made in His image, but, like some one has already stated, God gave the world over to satan, who is, in Gods words, lord of this world..... but, we as humans do have the main care giving attribute to care for what God has made....... Now, yes, I agree, some of the stuff going on and that has happened and is happening, we must , as humans have a sense of humor about or we would just go stark crazy over fretting about it......God however, I do not think, is laughing about most of the stuff.... go in peace.....God bless

No. Humor aside, God took all this rather serious. It's not that it was a surprise, but there was a council in Heaven as to whether God would want to start this whole thing - knowing what would happen. That's why the Bible says, " The Lamb slain before the foundation of the Earth."
God set times for things. You might see them as translated as "Feasts". Those 'feasts' are telling of something that will happen after they were started. Like the Passover and the Crucifixion of Jesus. Like the 'Feast' of Pentecost, and what happened during one of those feasts in Acts 2. They were telling of things to happen, called 'shadows of things to come'.
So God knew all this was going to happen, and promised to save a remnant of all people. That's all He wants. He doesn't want everybody, and it's not funny. I am only glad that I am one of the people He wants.

of all the so called gods out there only mother nature has a sense of humor... godships are a reflection of certain people's work... mother nature admited she was human.. thus exposing the origins of all godships as humans... she said to her nature was god, information long lost due to the religions created by the others... the one who buitl the catholic religion is the one refered to as satan... he because of the long running of his church is a very powerful idiot.. (her words) she's prophecied as the woman in the wilderness... she says all information will come in it's own time... she's been the only one who's defended nature... she's the one to produce free will... she is very loudly understood spiritually.. and the christians and catholics are very agressive in working to consume and spin or discredit her information... she reminds us that the catholics and the christians are still very capable of murder... John Lennon was murdered by a christian... manipulation of the spirit is getting harder and harder for the religions... so hopefully the dam of lies will break and we should get clearer information in our generation... the damages done to our earth in nature is all due to the war these gods of religion have against her... she puts nature first and because of the human stupidity humans last.. that is why the animals, the forests, the insects, the waters are all getting a healing but humans will not be given healing until they give up religion.... for information she's used to heal people the devils have used it to control the people... either the humans wake up or she will advise nature to let them die before they destroy the earth.. religion is a choice... If you choose slavery you might as well not live...

I'm sure God has a sense of humor. After reading the distortions and insulting words here in R&S about God, I'm sure He would really be pissed if He took us seriously.

God did nothing to fail. Many people think that He controls everything that happens. He doesn't. If that were true, eve would have never taken that bite. there would be no sin, but He doesn't want people to be mindless servants that do whatever he says. He does nothing to change your actions. every thing that you do and that is screwed up with the world is because of your own free will.... its our fault .

not knowing the subject of which you were arguing about, I can't comment on that....
However, lol, yes, God DOES have a sense of humor :)
Whom else would use the "foolish" and "weak" to build an army against satan?
Gotta love Him just for giving us a chance! :)
