Is homosexuality called sin in Romans 1st ch? Is sodomy the same as homosexuality in the bible? Did the homosexuals try to molest the angels that were visiting Lot in Sodom and Gomorrow in the bible? Did God call homoseuxality an abomination, and would give people over to a reprobate mind of they did not repent? Does Hebrews 10 26 says that if we practice sin willingly after knowing truth, there is no more sacrafice for that sin? Is sin something God opposes? Did Jesus say he will tell some people to depart from him because they were wicked and he does not know them?

a homosexual CAN NOT enter heaven

2007-10-21 18:09:31 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 7 16

I will go against the grain. The answer is: they will not enter heaven. The word of God is very bold in telling of what God thinks about homosexuality. He does not beat around the bush. It is a sin. It is an abomination. those who do not believe that it is, well; they have had blinders put over their eyes. One day, the blinders will be removed and the truth will be revealed unto them. I don't think you are being judgemental either. you had scripture to back up your question. And the fact, that you spelled a word wrong, no big deal. You got your point across. You may have ruffled some feathers, but in the end it will have been worth it. The world needs to know that we are a sin sick world. Am I leaving out christians? No! We have sin also in our lives that we must deal with daily. the difference in this particular sin, is that God did call it an abomination, a stinch in his nostril.

Your Bible says these things, but your Bible is completely wrong on this issue. The men who wrote the Bible were just as prejudice against people whom they did not understand or have common ground with as you are.

When you close your mind your heart will quickly follow. When a person has a closed heart to others, it makes it so much easier to condemn those other people. You are condemning others whom you obviously do not understand by using an old book whose true authors you can not possibly identify for sure nor can you confirm that it was divinely inspired. There is just no proof that it is the word of God. Therefore, you are condemning others with no other reason except for an old book that may actually be rubbish and a complete con.

Seriously, why do you think the Bible is the word of God? Is it because somebody told you it is? What concrete proof did they provide you? Nothing I bet! And you believed them anyway, didn't you? LOL!

Assuming a homosexual is naive enough to believe in heaven and that homosexuality is a sin (sorry, must have missed that commandment), the simple answer is that God forgives all repentants.
Of course, you, as a religious person should know this as well as the phrase "judge not, lest ye be judged".
I hope you sleep well in your narrow vision of reality. For Christ's sake, there are so many more relevant issues to worry about, why not spend your time on something useful like feeding the poor or aiding the sick instead of wasting it on worrying about trivialities.

disclaimer: these are my own personal beliefs, not something i'm trying to force on others. i am not trying to offend anyone and i have no prejudice agaisnt those who are homosexual. and i am sorry if i do offend you, this really isnt my intention.

I'm christian and I believe homosexuality is a sin.

However, I dont believe in hating people who are homosexual.
God loves them and so should we.

God also doesnt look at any sin as worse than any other.
We've all lied and cheated and disobeyed at somepoint. This is the equivalent to the sin of being homosexual. God still loves us and will allow us into heaven.

and also realize, those who are homosexual dont believe its a sin. they dont realize that what the act of homosexuality is wrong. In Luke 23:34, as Jesus is on the cross and the guards below him are gambling for his clothing, he says, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they're doing." they [both the guards and homosexuals] dont know any better.

So yes, those who are homosexual will still enter heaven. God still loves them just as he's loved every other sinner.

We get into heaven by repenting our sins and promising to we'll follow Him and give up our lives to Him. this doesnt mean that we're perfect and we'll never sin again.

SIMPLE

2Th 2:7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
2Th 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
2Th 2:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
2Th 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
NOTE: 2Th 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2Th 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness

They just try not to think about it. If they know they should change and believe they can't, realizing there is no logical allowance for a double life, they hurt, a lot.

I think that all of us are in the same boat. Just because our sins are different, doesn't make us any less reliant on Jesus Christ to redeem us from sin. Instead of worrying about our own sins, it's much easier to point a finger at the homosexuals or murderers or child abusers and somehow feel more worthy of heaven. We are all unclean.

All of us are equally reliant on the mercy and goodness of our Savior, Jesus Christ, to be saved. It is through His goodness and grace that we are saved, and only after all we can do, to merit His grace.

Homosexuality is a way of life, just like christianity. I don't believe that any homosexual person I've met believed in God, and, therefore, do not think about "entering heaven." In society's eyes, whatever makes you feel good is the truth. I think that you should let people be as they are. If you are homophobic then leave the matter alone. You can't change everyone. Just preach the word of God to those who will listen and use your prayers to both guide you and open their hearts to what you see as the truth.

You are judging them, and that itself it is a sin. This is a judgment on homosexuals disguised as question. Remember this, you can murder someone, you can steal, you can be a homosexual (if that even is a sin), and you can even lie. You have the same exact punishment for everything. Hitler isn't going to get it any worse then a thief. Remember that. I only found on of your questions interesting. Once you know the truth, and willingly sin, will you go to heaven? Have you sinned since your a Christian? If thats true, I'm not going to see you in heaven.

some say no, that God will absolve us directly. regardless of the undeniable fact that, the accepted potential of Christ's ministry interior the international is the Church. Christ left to His apostles the authority to forgive sins in His call, and all our bishops and priests succede from those twelve apostles. hence, sacramental confession has been the norm via the historic previous of Christianity. bear in mind, you're actually not confessing your sins to the priest, yet directly to Christ Whose spirit comes upon the priest while he celebrates the sacraments. And hence the absolution comes directly from Christ to boot. i could advise confessing from at the back of the exhibit apart from, for that will improve the psychological effect of this, no longer being waiting to make certain your friendly neighbourhood parish priest on the different edge of the exhibit, and hence speaking as in case you have been easily speaking to Christ and listening as in case you have been easily listening to Christ. Homosexuality is a sin. People try to justify their actions by saying they were "born that way" God doesn't create people that way. And repent means to turn away from, if they don't repent, and ask for forgiveness, and ask Jesus Christ to come into their hearts, then they aren't going to heaven.
