Just an opinion question because I've heard yes on both sides. I generally prefer making the pasta in the sauce.

I depends on the specific combination you're serving. It also depends on the manner of serving. If you're handing out individual plate, then presentation is important and often the sauce on top looks better. If you're going self serve, you should mix the sauce in so everyone gets the same thing.

I like the pasta in sauce. I don't mind the sauce on top because I just mix it up with the pasta anyways. Sooo yeah, that's my story and I'm stickin' to it. L8

I love warming the sauce a little before putting it in the pasta! Mixing it well personally I think tastes the best! Have fun and enjoy the pasta!!!!!!yumm

Depends on the type of pasta I am having. Long strand spaghetti type on top. Shells, elbows or twists in sauce.

I like the best of both worlds!
I mix in some of the sauce and then put some on top.

I like my pasta tossed with the sauce, so every piece of pasta is coated .

I personally prefer the sauce on top, and if your guest likes it in the pasta, they can stir it in their plate.

With spaghetti or linguini I like it on top and if it has meatballs - on top. But with other shaped pasta I like it mixed in. Mmm, sounds yummy!
