Don't worry about it...You'll get longer as you get older...Start a stretching and weight training program targeting the golf muscles..I was hitting it about 260 in my mid teens and hit it 300 plus now..If you're a tournament level golfer, you shouldn't care about distance.. Long drives don't get the ball in the hole, it's your scoring clubs, wedges, and putter that get the job done..

Here are the average distances for most tournament level golfers.

Driver: 250+
3Wood: 240-260
5Wood: 220-230
2 Iron: 220-245
3 Iron: 210-215
4 Iron: 190-205
5 Iron: 185-200
6 Iron: 180-190
7 Iron: 160-175
8 Iron: 150-160
9 Iron: 130-140
PW: 120-130
GW: 95-110
SW: 85-100
LW: 60-90

Hope this helps.

it does not matter how far you are or are not hitting it
\it is about accuracy and consistency.
I hit a long ball and my direction leaves a bit to be desired i was once beaten by a man with only a 7 iron and a putter.
he hit it about 160 full and straight every time.
Again unless you can only hit your 5 iron about 150 then i should not worry as you get older and stronger it will come.

.Hi,
The correct answer here should be not to worry about what you should get in distance and concentrate on what you actually get at the moment.
One of the keys to playing better golf is knowing what you can hit with each club. Go to your practice area or driving range and measure what you hit on average with each club.

Given your size and age etc you should be able to hit your 7 iron ave 150 yards and approx 10 yards +/- for each club.

you should probably drive the ball about 265+ yards ad hit your 5 iron 190 or so but like these guys said its the wedges and the putter that gets it done, but of course you know that

Doesn't matter at this point. You will continue to grow so that is going to change anyway. You can always start a exercise regimen. My brother gave me one last night. Go to coreperformance.com. It has sports specific workouts. Click on golf and one will come up.
