"Sometimes you want to shake a *****." Got to love Chris Rock. Even though it probably crosses every guy's mind at one time, it's not right to have a physical altercation against a woman's approval. Most women are not as strong as men and a man can hurt a woman more easily with a punch or shove then with a punch or shove against another man. So the law will take a woman's side if she reports it most of the time. It doesn't matter if she's the one who started it.

The best thing to do if your in a heated arguement that's leading to a physical altercation is to sit down if she's blocking your way, leave the room, or if she's hitting you, just block her punches but don't fight back. The law is changing more and more with women who abuse men. If you got cuts and bruises and she's clean, she'll get in trouble. When an arguement is going beyond words, it's best to be a man, and end the arguement by keep your mouth shut until everyone cools down.

Good luck!

No not normal. A person that does that needs to learn how to deal with his anger differently. Everyone gets angry but most people control their anger. Pushing or shoving someone is trying to control them. The only person a person can control is themself.

No, it is a red flag that this fellow can not control himself if angry. Guys with that sort of behavior generally escalate to hitting at some point.

No that's not right!

No guy should ever push/hit his girlfriend or in fact any girl!

That's consider domestic violence in some city and states!

No it's not normal. There is no excuse for a guy putting his hands on a girl and vice/versa.
