i think its a trick question. If 10 men can lift a ton meaning each of the ten men can lift a ton. how many can lift two tons. obviously none of them.

if 10 men can lift 1 ton
then
10 men can lift 2 tons 1 by 1

No man is strong enough to lift 2 tons.
On the other hand, if you mean it takes 10 men to lift 1 ton so how many do you need to lift 2 tons, then the answer is 20.
