Why does it seem as though none cares about Global warming? What most people do is clump it with politics and ignore it.

This is a peoples movement. No one can stop it. We have to do our part. Ignore the people that say we are domed as well as the people that violently want all the change today. CoolingEarth.org has more answers. Governments needs to make the playing field even by taxes pollutants. Do something every day and soon you will see changes. love life

Don't get disheartened. There's a great many people who do care and are doing their bit to help. More and more schemes are becoming available, such as recycling schemes, and people are are increasingly using them.

It's a pity that in the US global warming and politics become mixed up as it just confuses the issue and inevitably leads to people taking sides.

You may like to know that in a recent worldwide survey 92% of respondents considered global warming to be a 'serious threat'. That's not to say that they're all doing something about it but at least most people are aware of it, and that's always the first stage in taking action.

Scientifically there's a lot of things that are happening, these rarely get reported in the media so it can seem as if no progress is being made. Behind the scenes there's a lot of people who are trying to figure out ways to deal with global warming without it affecting our lifestyles.

Think about this though. Who are "no one", "most people"?
They are us. You cannot face any issue head on if you worry about what other people are doing. This doesn't apply simply to global warming, but any issue that has personal consequences.

If "they" are not doing anything about global warming then YOU do something. You are probably already doing everything you know that you can do to be part of the solution and not part of the problem. Talk about this issue about which you are passionate. Gather discussion groups, talk about things that you can DO together--not just whine about those who do nothing. And I am not talking about paying into carbon offsets. YOU go plant the trees with a group, YOU go talk to assemblies in schools, YOU go raise money and hand out free energy saving light bulbs, YOU offer to drive around and pick up your friends and car pool, YOU go talk to representatives of companies in your area that you think could be doing more.

If there is no leader....no one will follow! Maybe in your area, you can be the leader. Be their inspiration. You can be so busy, you won't have to worry about what others are or aren't doing. And one day you will look behind you and there "they" will be.

Why should anyone care about something that cant be stopped? Global warming is a natural cycle caused by the sun and other planets in our solar system are warming up as well.

I care about it. It's a very serious problem! Al Gore just won a nobel peace prize for his work regarding global warming. People better wake up soon before it's too late!

i know i get terribly disappointed when people running for election are screaming at the top of their lungs - in fact they don't even think it is a worthy question to tackle at debates.

it will be up to us the little people cause the big ones are in la la land and are not going to do anything.

it is all about wars with our leadership - and this country has been guided by leadership in the past - but this is a new day now and we are pretty much left on our own - which leaves over 200 million people to work with.

It's not true, many people care, more and more people care

It's entering the medias mainstream, more and more poeple drive hybrids, more and more poeple talk about it, and even opponents argue about it as if the accumulated evidence started to bother them
Of course business owners are generally reluctant to implement green changes until forced by the govt

we care and worry, but are not ready to pay the price required to stop global warming, namely stop use of fossil fuel.
maybe, if things start to kick us hard in the face, we will do more.

With anything that costs money to fix people rightly want to know that there really is a problem and some will resist facing the truth till very little doubt indeed remains.
