Read the part about this guy wanting NASCAR to once again change the chase format to make things closer.

I'm sorry.....but the other drivers had a chance when the chase started. Just because it isn't close for some, this clown thinks that NASCAR once again change the format. He wants to insure that all 12 drivers have a chance......regardless of how badly they perform. You can't make a NASCAR playoff that's similar to other sports. If that were the case, there would be an elimination format where at least half of the 12 drivers would be out of contention by this time.

I'm not saying that they need to do away with the chase. What I'm upset about is this writer whining that all 12 drivers still don't have a chance to win.

Its like the same **** in Schools now a days. Sorry people...not everyone can win and you dont level the playing field by bringing the top teams (and people) DOWN to the others level. This year Hendricks is dominate, next year it may be Rousch or Gibbs...either go back to the old way or leave it as is....

I think NASCAR needs to leave things the way it is, It is not perfect but It is better then messing with it and make it worse. The other 10 drive have just as much of a chance to win the championship as Gordon or Johnson have but in any sport you are going to have good day and bad day and at the end of the day there is going to be only one winner. All 12 chase drivers know that going in to the chase it is going to be hard and sometimes it does not go your way but you have to go out there and give a 100% sometime you make it and sometimes you don't. that is how this sport is.

All 12 had a chance to win. They race to start elimanting the drivers to have a championship. Kinda like the sweet 16 in basketball. They all had the same opportunity at the start of it.

I for one am sick of change. I would rather NASCAR leave things alone, (formats, cars, rules). I don't always agree with this new chase system. But, I would rather they leave it alone because I might like the revised one even worse...unless it went back to the way it was before. That would be okay.

I like the chase format. It would be boring if Gordon was 300 points above everyone. The Busch Series is boring since Carl Edwards is like 600 points above everyone. They should just keep it the way it is.

the only way to make a 10 race, 12 driver playof, is to only run those 12 cars. that is the only way for it to be fair, sory
