Hon, tell that guy to just relax about the tie. He's just anxious about the dance, is this his first formal?

Here's a suggestion: you'll never remember this dance by the time you're 20. It will be long forgotten. Why not make plans to make it a good memory? Do something unique, and focus on that aspect, not the tie. You won't even remember what dress you wore unless you do something memorable.

your link doesn't work baby

tell him it's just a dance and stop freaking!
Have him take a pic of your dress (or description) and go to the nearest department store and ask a person to help

tell him get over this or he's going to end enabled the latent OCD he might have
have him meditate, exercise, or do something with that time and energy he has

What i would do is try to match the color of the dress and try to find material and make one that would match perfectly

That's strange.
I went with my date to order his suit/tux and made sure you can find one.

Go to a prom store.

1) It's a broken link
2) Tell him to chill.. It's not a big deal.
