Intelligent Design is more live "devolution" since we, as a race, seem to be using less and less of our brains these days to explain things.

Not really. The modern "theory" of intelligent design is based on Michael Behe's decidedly incorrect notion of irreducible complexity (we'll call it IC for now).
IC states that all complex biological structures (think of the eye) are composed of separate structure (e.g. the retina and the iris) that could not have possible evolved independent of each other because each relies on the other in order to function. If this was indeed shown to be fact, evolution theory (at least as we know it) would be proved false.
So now you understand the flagship principle behind intelligent design "theory" (it's not a true scientific theory- read on).
Not 1 biological system to date has been shown to be IC. For example, we have piles of observable evidence that show how the eye (the most touted IC model) evolved through a series of gradations, with each of its complex components serving a separate purpose before they evolved to work in conjunction with the entire system.
Bacterial flagellum & the tongue of a wood pecker are 2 more common examples of alleged IC systems. Both have been thoroughly debunked by the scientific community.
The biggest problem with IC and intelligent design is that it is not falsifiable, which means it doesn't hold up as real scientific "theory". No test has been offered to establish or refute the assertion of IC. So while no system has been shown to be IC (many have been claimed and debunked), all the intelligent design proponents need to do is offer another and wait for it to be proved false. The "god of the gaps" mentality is the only thing behind intelligent design. There is no science, reason, logic, or deduction.
The bottom line: intelligent design is based on a non-scientific principle that violates evolution as it is understood by the accredited scientific community.

If I were going to believe in a creator, I'd pick one intelligent enough to design a self-sustaining universe. However, the idea behind so-called Intelligent Design is that God has to step in here and there and nudge things along. They try to claim that they're a "scientific" alternative to evolution, but they have produced no science, and there's documented evidence that the movement was cooked up as a scheme to insinuate religious creationism into US schools.

You were aware that I was down to ten brain cells. Now I am down to three after this question! Intelligent is a polite way of telling civilization to take a flying frck. Evolution is an on going battle of all faiths not just Christianity. Satanic followers go back to the Biblical days. Who can define evolution other then the planet itself? Show me one single person within this World that holds the answer and the knowledge?

Dear Madam,
your question is very much confusing. it mixes so many things. No theory of science is ever considered final & complete. it changes time to time. atoms were considered invisible but last century itself saw that theory null & void. Cell division & theory of evolution doesn't explain everything. Human knowledge to understand mysteries of nature is estremely small. If all top scientists get ages of 1000 years, do not deterioriate in health with time, their enthusiasm of scientific research does not fade with time & they remain busy in research & development, even then they cannot find out the same. even in Milky Way , if a man continously counts one star persecond non stop , he will take 300 years only for counting, forget about knowing full detail about interiors. Many planets have water in our as well as other galaxies. Life may or may not be there. Theories to understand all may take billions of years. Religion was made to make human being civilised, honest & just to keep human society most peaceful. If you modify that to make better life code for same purpose, none prevents you. Many tried , got partial success but not many followers & the dimensions of prominent religions remain almost static indicating perhaps all were originated from one in the beginning as the scholars of all religion claim. differences amongst them do exist but main purpose remains good & cannot be brushed aside. Hence, even if one is against religions, one cannot reverse all good principles of the same. Evolution theory oy you is not wort rejection outright. It requires much more exploration to have solid footing. It does not end at once. Logic & reasoning must always be strong to have strong acceptance. Cell division theory of intelligence is well accepted long ago but much more is to be done. One man or woman alone cannot do everything to make it final. There are amny inesplicable phenomena. Black magic is one of them. Anything about ghosts & angels is much more complicated. Even when Apollo 11 landed on the moon , there were so many strange thins observed , shown on 'Discovery' channel on TV. They're still unexplained in science.

Intelligent design is evolution! Yes,agree !
But who is the Intelligent Designer of evolution,
did you ever think ? Let Know Him & know yourself, but how ?
Read the Holy Quran and try to understand.
We can see everything under the MICROSCOPE of alive soul
but the power of scientific microscope is limited.
SOUL is ever alive when it is introduced with the ALMIGHTY in a valid & proper way.

I follow your perception of what truth is. However, what you believe about God is all lies made up by Satan and confusions to lead people away from God. God is complete Love, he does not cause the problems on this earth, sin does. Our decision to not follow HIS grand design, causes the problems on this earth. Granted, it may not be a direct result of OUR sin that causes us problems (ie: someone decides to murder and we happen to be the lucky recipient), however it is still the result of sin. God gave us free will, all of us. He will not interfere with our free will because he ultimately wants us to love Him because of HIM and not because He told us to.
To believe in Evolution takes just as much faith as it does to believe in creation. Neither one can be proven. We can only make our decisions based on what we can see. Science can not seem to figure out how our bodies evolved. I mean, a heart without a brain is dead. It can not survive. All of these systems would have to evolved at the same time under the same circumstances, which if evolution were true, would not produce two different outcomes. (IE: brain and heart) It would have produced the same outcome (IE: two brains or two hearts) And as we have seen from before, one can not survive without the other systems.
BTW, I also don't believe Satan is a hoofed Goat, that God is a ghost only, and I don't believe he punishes the unfaithful with eternal torment. None of that is substantiated in the Bible and are Doctrines based on one misunderstood text instead of basing it on the Bible as a whole.

I.D. & creationism is a result of xians not being able to deny evolution any longer. Remember how the majority fiercely attacked evolution just 10 yrs ago? If it doesn't fit into their beliefs, they will twist & shape it until it does.

Intelligent design is obvious in every scientific microscopic object and subject. Open your eyes!
Why would anyone believe they came from goo in a pond? Or a big bang? It takes more faith to believe in those things than it does to believe in a Creator who loves us, who sent His son to die for us because we are sinners and who will one day take us to heaven to be with Him? Would you rather be a robot, believing everything the textbooks say (that were obviously written by man) or a discerning being, believing the Bible which was God-inspired?
No, evolution is not the same as a loving creator.
Put your trust in Him and you will find the joy that you are obviously lacking.

NO. Intelligent Design is a code phrase invented by creationist to disguise the fact that they are talking about biblical creation.
