Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. (Romans 12:15)
I would say that that's the most clear cut verse, though I think there are also some in Lamentations and Proverbs that are similar that I can't think of right now. The Bible clearly shows that we are to empathize with others and not to make someone mourning feel worse by rubbing our happiness in their faces, and not to rain on someone's parade when they are rejoicing but rather rejoice with them.

there is no "unique textual content textile of the Bible". each and every faith commencing with the Roman Catholics began to take particular codices of the be conscious and those monks Canonized them as being the actual be conscious from God. How can that be while guy did the choosing and figuring out on of that have been the 1st rate "understand God" and the rest develop into rubbish. guy won't be able to make that determination and that i do no longer care what form of "humorous hat" he wears. My philosophy is Kindness

Empathy is the next evolutionary step for humanity. Some have already arrived. Many will be left behind.

I would have to post the entire Bible to give a complete answer...here's a few...God is charity (love, compassion, mercy and justice)
Joh 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
(Mat 11:28) Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
(Mat 11:29) Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
(Mat 11:30) For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
(Luk 10:33) But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,
(Luk 10:34) And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
Psa 111:4 He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion.
Mat 14:14 And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.
(Rom 3:9) What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;
(Rom 3:10) As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
(Mat 5:44) But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
(Mat 5:45) That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

Understanding is a gift of the Holy Spirit. Is what the Catholicism teaches.
Understanding the Bible specifically does teach of "KNOWING the DIFFERENCE".
