Lost Paradise: My elderly aunt, who fancies herself a psychologist, says this scenario reflects how you feel about your life in general.

These scenes here are very beautiful.
And V..... I did leave out the part about the bear.
Very few mention any type of wildlife which is usually abundant in the forest. Is that significant?

I'm walking through a forest of white cedar and birch. There is a small brooke winding through it and I can hear the sound of a waterfall in the distance. Large, moss covered rocks are numerous. I am in the company of the forest spirits. I come to a place where the cedar and birch have become entwined over the years. I make an offering of sacred kinnikinnik (American Indian tobacco). I sit under these trees that my ancestors called Grandmother Cedar and Grandfather Birch. I sing an Ojibwa song of Thanks. . . and the Song of the Little People. I am at peace.

Well...... A hunter had been ambling peacefully through the forest when suddenly he came upon a faun. The small mythological creature became so frightened that it crumpled to the ground unconscious. The hunter, so moved and dismayed by the pain he had caused, crouched over it's body. Suddenly a pack of woodland warrior fauns rushed out from behind the surrounding foliage, screaming and yelping their strange, almost otherworldly battle cries. The hunter, so startled and panicked, jumped up to run away and in the rush and the commotion, lost his wristwatch as it had snagged on the fur of the unconscious faun. As the warriors lept over their fallen comrade, the watch became disentangled and flung a ways onto a nearby pathway. And that's why the wristwatch was there.

It's a beautiful fall day. I see the trees gently blowing in the wind. There are some leaves that have already fallen on the ground. Along side of me there is a small steam. The air is not hot, or cold. It is just a crisp autumn day. I am alone, just out for a stroll, exploring. I see/hear the creatures of the forest moving around me. I am not afraid. I am at peace.

When I went to bed last night I couldn't get this scene out of my thoughts. I saw the trees, it was after a rain. The sun was glistening on the wet leaves and the overlay of water left on the world around me. The sun was not the bright sun of noon, it was the sun of the sunset hour. Just enough light to illuminate the land, but it was going down enough to start showing the warm, beautiful, soothing, colors of sunset. Orange, magenta, and a brilliant purple filled the sky that was above me. All around me were the sounds of crickets, a hoot owl had just come out of his tree to greet the night. I felt welcomed into dreamland, and that's where it led me. Thank you.

That's a great question. I think I will wake-up my wife and ask her. ---- On second thought, (good thing I read the rest of your question) ... Where I am I going? I would be going to get in trouble.

1. What do I see? A major pathway, and then as I look closer I see several more narrow pathways. At first I think they are "animal" paths. But as I look closer I realize a person could choose any of those paths and still probably get to a watering hole - so to speak.

2. What is the weather? I am getting old and now I seem to have read "What is the "whether". Whether or not those other paths will also lead to a "Heaven", or heavely watering hole --- so to speak.

3. Are you with people? My dreams always include people. My sister says "Wayne, you can't stand to be alone, you should be like me and be able to entertain yourself; then you wouldn't need people and you wouldn't have to be so disappointed when they act "ugly""

Conclusion about a forest or our lives or even a war:

"If it's not worth dying for, it is not worth living for". In Vietnam we always pumped up our courage by chanting that slogan.

The forest is a mix or Evergreens, Oak, Joshua Trees, Maple and Alder, with a scattering of wild apples.

The land is mountainous with low brush and wild grasses giving way to stands of poppies and desert daisies. At some spots the bare rock shows through in colors of white, red and gray.

The sky is slightly overcast, but mostly it is a sunny day. The occasional Raven, Crow, and Hawk can be seen as well as a humming bird and some jays and a few sparrows.

I'm walking with my wife and our two dogs on our way to a camp out and drumming circle, we each have two drums as well as a bag of smaller hand instruments As we walk we are throwing back and forth a little rhythmn we made up on the spur of the moment.

Ok, I am in a forest. I see a lot of trees and the ground is covered in leaves. It is fall and the leaves are red and orange. It is partly cloudy. I see a lot of sticks and pinecones too, and also broken branches, and I see some narrow paths all over the place that people made before me. I also see a little stream and some old bottles thrown around. I am walking alone. I am not going anwhere. I am wandering trying to find beauty in the woods and trying to find some connection to my life. The leaves are changing, perhaps I am too.

The trees are very dense, very shadowed and a little cold, but there are rays of sunlight that occasionally make their way to the forest floor. The weather is calm, perhaps a slight breeze to rustle the leaves at the tops of the trees. I am alone, and I have no idea where I am going. Just wandering and enjoying the views, the smells, the sounds.

When I took this test seriously:

I'd simply see a nice clear sky and it's just me and my girlfriend (whoever and wherever she may be *sigh*) I'm just holding hands with her as we happily walk home together surrounded by nice tall trees and the sound of some casual forest animals.

When I took this test lightly:

I would not just be with my girlfriend, I would be with a small group of traveling adventurers. The forest is enchanted and we are just about to engage an extremely hostile monster. The trees would have a mysterious magical air about them.

The creature we are about to fight is a fearsome wyvern with dark blue-green scales, a frill lined with four long horns, a tri-spiked tail, sharp teeth, poisoned claws, another long horn on its snout, a vast pair of wings, and finally an intense acidic breath.

I am a magician, a master of devastating offensive spells and elemental sorcery who can annihilate the opposition with tremendous power, though cannot equally withstand such damage. My girlfriend is a healer, a benevolent servant who supports the party with healing powers and strengthens her allies with her prayers. My other companions include my sister, who is a ninja and an expert in silent assasination, illusion, stealth, martial arts, and ninjutsu. The leader of the group is a skilled, hard-bodied swordsman whom I met and is often the one who recklessly charges in any monstrous encounter without thinking. Finally, there's his partner, a female hunter who is armed with a fatal mastery of the bow and arrow and can shoot through the most heavily guarded defenses with her keen and precise eyesight.

I am alone... there's a slight breeze to make the warm day all the more wonderful. The leaves are falling around me so I raise my hands heavenward and spin happily in circles until I become so dizzy I have to sit down- giggling.
I would like to dig for truffles or gather other mushrooms to add to a salad later- but I never did learn how to identify the poisonous ones darn it.
After I explore awhile, I take a journal out of my backpack and my Bible out of the fanny pack I literally wear everywhere I go, as well as my MUVO voice recorder- this would be a great spot to get some Bible studying done. And if the mood hits, I can write some poems and record some songs of praise. I love writing songs but I don't know how to write music lol, so if I want to remember them I have to sing them (just cover your ears :))

This was fun, thanks. Now I want to drive out to my "farm" (83 acres of mostly woods in the middle of nowhere in WV)

It is very peaceful with small dried brushes cracking under my feet. I see limited green plants surrounded by winter stripped thin trees. I can see green fields from a distance. The wheater is mild but frosty. I am not wearing a coat as I walk alone thinking and enjoying the view. I do not want to leave out of the woods, for I am meditating and thinking. I am overwhelmed by the sure peace I feel as the earth screams out at me, Be still!! It is so surreal, for I am in Germany. I can sense it, though I do not know it for sure.
